On August 8, 2022 we hired Henry and Eric Multi Services to refurbish our deck, that is to replace the wood with **** and install PVC railing. At the time they informed us that they were properly licensed and insured to perform this type of construction work. We paid them money up front and in installments, around 15K. We later found out that they did not possess the proper contractor license from the Commonwealth of Virginia, but an ordinary business license from the City of Manassas, VA. According the the State of Virginia, any work over 1K requires a contractors license. In addition, they completed work out of building code and tried to pass it off as in code. They also damaged personal property. They misrepresented themselves as licensed and qualified contractors. For the pictures, Code requires the top of the handrail be at a minimum of 36" and the sweep less that 4". In other photos you can see where they took a wire brush and scraped off patina from our patio and tried to cover mistakes by drilling extra holes in PCV.We are seeking a refund of our money to solve this complaint.

    To whom it may concern

In early August 2022 we were hired by ************************** and **************************. We were hired to do their deck makeover to **** Material. At the time we were discussing their deck project we told them we were licensed and insured as we have a business license and we have a company Insurance which they approved. We did a contract and they approved the contract on their deck project. All we were doing was replacing their existing wood with composite Materials. Everything started amazing. They gave us a deposit to buy all the materials thru ********* and start the project. We were working fine in the beginning until we started installing the rails to code. ************************* told my partner Henry that she wanted the rails to be leveled off by an existing post so he listened to her. ****************** saw the rails were low in height and explained to him that his wife wanted the rails to be leveled off from an existing post. He got upset so we had to invest from our own pocket $1500.00 and buy all new rails and reinstall it to county code. Towards the end of the project he wanted us to pull a Building Permit which we should have done in the beginning so we went to apply. When we applied  there was a license we did not have but it was going to take a couple of days to have the license that was needed. We explained to him but he started screaming towards us and told us to pack our stuff and get out of his property and that we would be fired. Before doing that he made us put all the pvc composite materials towards his back yard that we bought from our own money $2000.00 of all the extra work he wanted us to do on his deck that we weren't going to charge labor but he would just reimburse us for the materials but never did he just took it and never paid us back. We felt so discriminated against. We worked so hard on his deck  we worked through inclement weather and hot and humid weather. He damaged our company name on a Reference he posted on **** *******. All of our prior customers talk so beautifully about us and are happy with the work we have done for them. We lost sales because of ******************. We really enjoyed working with him until he changed on us towards the end. We lost more than $6000.00 dollars and we couldn't pay our own employees. We are a small company trying to grow but it's sad how we were treated by ****************** towards the end of the project.. We have all the receipts of all the materials purchased. And the photos of the deck .
