I have been a subscription customer for HVAC ********************** since 2020. I paid my yearly service fee of $229 in July 2023. I received a notice in early 2024 that they were pausing service. When I called to schedule my normal spring service on 4/29 they were still paused. I have now called twice and asked for them to call be back regarding fall service and no one is returning calls. I would like an update on if they are starting service though at this point I would like a refund so that I can hire someone else to come do the service.

I have a contract with Airflow to service my home twice a year. I renewed this contract in January of this year. They were to come in **** or early July. I called in March to get on the schedule. They said they were closed and would not be servicing anyone. I asked for a refund. I was told that would not be available and they asked for a month or so to sort through the issues. I called in April and got the same story. I asked to have someone call me back that had the authority to refund my money. I never heard from anyone. I called today 6/27/2024 and was told they have no movement. I asked for the refund and was told I would be put on a list. I have waited long enough and this is a significant amount of money. Can you assist?

I have an annual contract with Airflow so that they come and service by HVAC both for winter and spring. They have not done the spring check up even though Ive called three times. Evidently theyre deciding whether not to stay in business and if they decide not to, they will then refund the money, supposedly. However, spring is obviously gone and were well into the air conditioning season. They are holding my money and my service hostage according to someone next-door and the person I talk to on the phone, this is for all of their customers. They should not be able to hold our money hostage and not give us service in the appropriate timeframe While they decide not to stay in business.

We used the Airflow Service Company to install a gas line for our new kitchen remodel in 2022. Part of the service is to file a blueprint of the work with Prince ******* county for inspection. We have been trying since April of 2022 to get the blueprints sent. When we call there is always a new manager or they are sending it the next week. It NEVER arrives. I have holes in my basement ceiling that are still not covered because they had to be left open until the final inspection. At this point I want the blueprints sent to ********************* for inspection and the Company to fix my ceiling free of charge since it has gone on a ridiculous amount of time. We have informed the company we are looking into a lawyer and submitting them to the local news agency.

On February 22, 2023, I had called Airflow Service Company an authorized reseller/repair company to repair Aprilaire 800 central humidifier at my home. Aprilaire provided all the parts since the unit had some kind of faulty connectors to the canister. Airflow company charged me $300 for this work. Airflow tech replaced the main board, canister and the faulty connectors, but the unit was not functional as the tech informed me that he cannot test it since the unit is not connected to furnace/thermostat. This work will cost me $650 extra, which I found quite steep price for the work. I hired another contractor who fixed the unit connectivity to furnace/thermostat in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, he ended up spending over 2 hours to fix the humidifier by calling Aprilare tech support and come to find out that the unit/main board was incorrectly wired by Airflow tech. Essentially, I had to pay this second vendor again what I paid the first vendor to fix. Btw, Aprilaire unit can be tested without connection to a thermostat, which I found out when my technician was working with Aprilaire tech support. After that I wrote an email to Airflow letting them know how they had incorrectly wired the unit. I also provided them with the Aprilaire ticket number that the second company tech opened up to fix the wiring issue. I get a response back from one ******* who is supposed to be a senior manager with this company and he agreed to refund my invoice of $300. Then when after I while I did not hear anything back from *******, I get an email telling me that I must submit an invoice from the second vendor and as soon as they get this invoice, they will refund me my money. I followed up with a receipt/invoice from the second vendor and wrote them a few follow-up emails requesting the refund, but there has not been any response back from the company. Obviously, Airflow never intended to refund me my money, but just giving me a run-around.
