The I66 road express bypass is a rip-off theft ring which should be sued for their criminal activity. I was robbed of $102.25 for traveling there from entry point 404 to exit point 411. They claim I have 5 axles on my legally registered vehicle, which only has2. They lie to justify their THEFT OF MONIES, and I want my #***.25 back. Upon review of this trip it is confirmed that this vehicle is a class 5 based upon the vehicle measurements. The vehicle is over 7 feet in height and less than 23 feet in length. Based upon the classification, there is a 3x Peak Toll Factor applied to the trip as it took place during afternoon peak period. (3PM-7PM) The customer travelled 3 segments which all had the 3x peak toll factor applied. Segment 1- $29.25 ($9.75 posted rate) Segment 2- $31.20 ($10.40 posted rate) Segment 3- $46.80 ($15.60 posted rate) Total- $107.25 ($35.75 posted) It has been validated that the posted rate images match what the customer was charged based upon the toll and 3x peak toll factor for a class 5 vehicle. As we are limited in the information that can be displayed on signs by state and federal signage regulations, detailed information is always needed available on our website - ************************************************************************ or mobile app for customers to educate themselves prior to travel.Review fromJ. My son drove on I-66 on 2/27/25. He was on the road for less than 15 minutes around 5pm. They have what they call dynamic pricing meaning it goes up and down depending on the time of day and the amount of traffic. We were billed $57.40. We are from MA and went through MA **Pass for an explanation because their website is not user friendly and when you find the correct toll road, plug in the entry and exit points we were shown a rate of $21.50 with a disclaimer. This is consumer fraud and hghway robbery at it's finest. Their website has a link to show you your estimated tolls yet they cannot provide you the exact amount the toll will be. Heck I can go on to ****** Maps and set the trip for when I plan on leaving to get an estimate as to how long it will take me during heavier traffic versus lighter traffic. I spent a Friday on the phone back and forth with VA DOT and not one person could tell me based on the entry and exit which department I need to talk too as each VA highway has their own call center. I sent an email an was still told on Monday it was the wrong department. I went down the rabbit hole to find that I need I-66 Express. I filled out the form. Got a generic party line response with a breakdown of the 4 gantry points gone through. and that the roads are well signed. So a person not familiar with the area is following their gps and sees the ** Pass and knows they have one so they follow yet the tolls are not clearly spelled out and they change at each gantry. Should we not be paying attention to the traffic around us and not every ** Pass sign with various toll information? They have not been helpful and will not answer my additional questions and keep closing my claim which does not allow me to respond to their response. I feel for those who moved west to save on housing and have to pay $2500/month just in tolls. Not tourist friendly either. Must need to pay for the construction costs to fill the traffic flow.I-66 Express Mobility Partners LLC

Customer submitted 3 disputes and was educated on dynamic pricing on I-66 and tolling by segment. The rate charged was validated and confirmed to match the toll rate posted on the road at time of trip. Dispute was denied as the charged amount is valid.J. K.

Yes, however, the fact of the matter is that your tolling system is not well mark and for those not used to driving **** are forced to pay tolls that are extremely expensive. And your highways and system are very confusing to those not familiar with your way of charging tolls I know people who avoid these highways while travelling as they feel your tolls are price gouging and I tend to agree. Your websites are confusing and not user friendly when trying to calculate tolls either. I was on your websites at different hours and the tolls varied. At least with ****** maps you can change your date and start time to get a more accurate travel time. Bottom line this is price gouging and the fact that you do not accurately post toll rates online or clearly on the highway is literally highway robbery. Yes pun was intended. At the end of the day you really don't care. That is why if you do a ****** search you will find a lot of complaints about your toll roads and toll practices.Review fromAustin B

Ive had continuous issues with I-66 Express Mobility Partners (I-66 EMP) regarding their EZ-Pass Flex system. Despite always having three people in my car, I keep receiving notifications stating that Im not in compliance with the *** requirement. To make matters worse, they refuse to provide any evidence when Ive repeatedly requested proof that I didnt have three people in the car.This is not just an inconvenienceit's highly concerning, as it suggests that their system may be incorrectly charging people due to these errors. The lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. I-66 EMP needs to fix their system and stop issuing false notices, as this could be costing their customers money. Charged $78 for approx 10 miles. I have an E-ZPass HOV3 transponder and we had 3 people in the truck. Because I was above 7 feet they classified me as Class 6 and stated HOV3 doesn't apply. There is no signage stating this. I filed a dispute with I66 Express Mobility Partners and they denied my claim.I-66 Express Mobility Partners LLC

We have reviewed your dispute and were able to determine the vehicle was correctly classified as a Class 6 and traveled multiple segments. At this time, the dispute is denied, and the toll is valid. The 66 Express Outside the Beltway is divided into segments three eastbound and four westbound. Each segment contains multiple exit points, all covered by a single toll rate. Well in advance of the start of a segment, overhead signage indicates the exits along that segment and the current toll rate for that segment. Drivers are charged only for the segment(s) driven prior to exiting the 66 Express. Additionally, Toll prices on 66 Express Outside the Beltway vary by the shape and size of the vehicle you drive, including equipment or modification, which increases the toll factor (****************************************************************).Review fromStephen M

Literally Highway Robbery.I was on vacation and was passing through the ************* area for the first time in my RV. I traveled on a toll road for 30 miles. So, 60 miles round trip. The signage indicated it was a toll road at a price of $2.50 for EZPass and $6 cash. I was confused because I saw no toll booths anyway. Finally, I came to the conclusion it was automated and I would be billed by mail. And I was was for $190. That is over $3 per mile driven. I tried calling the phone number provided. All I got was double speak. It might as well be one of those Nigerian scammers.Something has to be done. This is scamming of epic proportions.I-66 Express Mobility Partners LLC

They are a SCAMMERS. Traveled to my cousin wedding and went through 3 tolls on the way through the highway. A month later I got a bill that said that I owe $30.00 in tolls and then extra $37.50. When I contacted them they told me now that its a month late I owe an Additional amount making my total bill $104.00. I asked them how can they charge me for a toll that I am calling a month later so much. They said its because I did it 3 times. I eventually proved them WRONG after telling them it was 3 different tolls. They said if it was one toll they would waive the fee but since its 3 different toll they wont do it. The Toll high have EZPASS which I have the EZPASS by PLATE. They said they dont use that and they require EZPASS TRANSPONDERS. I asked them if someone does not have that they should have a rep sitting on the TOLL for payment. They said they do not do that. I did have 5 days to submit the payment online on a website. First, there website still cannot find my TOLL. Also the notice was received few weeks later. When I asked if they even tried to notify me they said they sent this bill which already had a Administrator fee. They explain the FEE is to locate me to get me to pay. Also threatened me that if I do not pay they will double the amount to $300. Then send me to collections and COURT. I told them that I am fine with paying the TOLL and the adminstrator fee if they can do payment plan but they refused. Asked them if I can just pay the intial TOLL and adminstor fee and not the second FEE which doubles my bill and they said no. Spoke with DARREN the SUPERVISOR who said they are a PRIVATE company and acted like she GOD HERSELF (100% sure that not her real name and she refuse to provide me any other info). She said that I can do w/e I wont but I will either pay this or get sent to collections. They are making money and I cannot belive that the STATE of Virginia is parters with them.
