I would like to start by saying that I would give this business "0" stars if possible. A few months back we dropped off our boat to have the propeller and transmission looked at because it wouldn't go in reverse. They looked at it and told us that everything was just fine with the propeller.
Fast forward a few months later, we wanted to get our boat ready for the summer season, so we took it back to them to get a new bimini top and to have the boat looked over from top to bottom. Shortly after looking over the boat, we learned the battery needed to be replaced. I gave them the green light and had that taken care of. The bimini top ordeal was stretched into a long drawn out expensive mess because of their failure to measure the existing frame. The back bow of the frame was broken, so they ordered a customized one to replace it. Then they said that it would be cheaper to just replace the whole frame. The first one they ordered was too small for our boat. They then decided to order another whole new bimini top frame which thankfully was the correct size this time. Angler's Choice had our boat in the shop for almost 2 months when it was originally only supposed to take 2 weeks. I blame the shop's inability to take proper measurements, lack of communication, and poor customer service. (Abbi is an exception. She is a very nice and helpful lady.)
We get our boat back, take it to the lake, and it wouldn't go forward or in reverse. Shocker. We load it back up, take it to Angler's choice where I was greeted by Tim. He didn't seem to understand my frustration regarding the issue of my freshly serviced boat not working, especially after paying $1,400+ a few days before. The engine, propeller, lights, horns, etc. were all supposed be in perfect working order and lake ready. So now I am out even more money and my boat still needs to be properly fixed. Tim ********** basically washed his hands of the whole thing, refused to give a refund, or have the boat worked on.
