      Im military and I had signed a lease renewal, then I got a call stating I never did, I emailed them the copies and was told that they would call me back to make sure everything is correct. they never did, also I tried reaching out but apparently the whole local office is closed for an event. its been very shady since ive lived there.

      Beware when moving out of *********** / Southern Management Apartments in ******, ********. After being a resident there for almost eight years, I was surprised and disappointed that my full security deposit plus interest, after being placed in an escrow account, was not fully returned to me. I was told that a portion of that money was deducted and used to assist with the re-glazing of the apartments bathtub, which according to Maryland Tenant Law is a violation. There was minor peeling which is to be expected after living and using the tub and shower for almost eight years, but no major damage that would warrant this deduction. I would argue that re-glazing a tub, a fresh coat of paint and installing new carpet is a part of the turnaround process when preparing the residence for the next tenant. There was no major damage to the dwelling only normal ware and tare which is to be expected. I regret not scheduling a move-out inspection with management before I left, that way I could have kept them honest, and I would not have to write this negative review. I guess if was **** of me to think that the front office was going to do right by me, but they didnt. I consulted a lawyer to see if I should take legal action but was advised that due to the amount of stolen money that I am seeking, that it may not be worth my while. I was also told that this type of scam happens all the time. So as a warning, when moving out of an apartment or leased housing, take the time to do a move-out inspection with the property manager before vacating the residence.

      I have been living at the property WILDERCROFT TERRACE APARTMENT FROM 2007 TILL TODAY 2022 and I have made numerous complaints to the rental office and to co-operate office about the treatment that i and other tenants have received which was very poor over the past years. whilst under a one MS LOUIS who was forced to resign over a year ago people keep leaving because of her lack of service when we have complaints about issues at our apartments and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BEING DONE, even a couple of the resident MAINTAINANCE PERSONEL HAD TO RESIGN OR TAKE UP JOBS AT OTHER LOCATIONS BECAUSE OF MS LOUIS'S ILL-TREATMENT INCLUDING, MR. JERRY. I moved in, in 2007 at 6815 apt f, then B-2, then APT 6809 APT 104, then 6811 APT 104, and no matter what your complaint is nothing is done to help. my complaint today is because I had to run out of the country urgently and didn't do the APT walkthrough I was penalized by management and co-operate with having to deal with whatever issues I had as time go along. it took the resident office TWO YEARS TO CHANGE THE FLOORS in my apt 6811 apt 104, I believe because MS LOUIS was no longer there, and the new management wanted to show that they were doing better. when I moved into 6811 apt 104 in 2018 I had a new refrigerator installed and the doors would not properly close for almost a year and a half before something was done, finally, I could keep stuff in my fridge and now I had a baby in my house, my son is now today 31 months old and up to last month august I had to use an ice box to keep some of my food from spoiling I was so EMBARRASSED, TO SEE I'M PAYING $1460.00 A MONTH'S RENT AND THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO ENDURE. I have taken several photographs of my lost and perished food items and given them to the manager nothing has happened to date. after the floors were changed because the KITCHEN WAS SINKING AND THE BATHROOM WAS AS WELL, the refrigerator started giving problems again and that's where we at today.
