    In November 2020, I contacted The Quilt Shop of McLean about getting a quote for repairing two family quilts, both over 100 years old. In early 2021, I dropped off the quilts to the shop. Shortly thereafter, I received a free quote over the phone from Nancy P********. The quote was higher than I could afford, and I told  Nancy and asked if I could pick up the quilts. She said that she did not know if she still had my quilts and couldn’t do anything without a yellow paper that she says she gave to me in early 2021. I don't know why she needs this yellow paper--I could easily give my photo ID to confirm my identity. I am truly distraught and panicked. While I’d intended to pick up the quilts sooner, my daughter had been in the hospital and there have been a number of other family health issues. Nancy repeatedly told me that I must not have cared about the quilts to not pick them up sooner. When I reiterated that my daughter had been sick, she told me that everyone has family health issues. Nancy also informed me that she couldn’t promise that she still has the quilts. This sickens me. Please tell me how to proceed.******
