I hired Webmation after having known the owner, *************************, for over 4 years. In December of 2021, I paid him $3,000 for marketing services (pictured below) and then another $7,000 for more marketing services (also pictured below). I did not act on these services until February 8 of this year.On February 18, 2023, I gave ***** access to my ******* page, and shared more marketing material via *******. I asked for an update on March 1, to which ***** replied "have it scheduled. will update you next week". I never received this update. On March 12, I inquired once more on my website, to which ***** replied that he was working on the tech stack and that the goal was to launch first week of April. This never happened. On March 15, ***** informed me that he would update me on the site by that weekend. This never happened. On March 18, ***** pitched me his coaching deals ranging from $1,500 to $10k+. I informed him that I wanted to get the website running first. On April 3, two days after the proposed launch date, I inquired once again on the website. ***** informed me that he got hit with a nasty virus for the last two weeks and that he would send me a preview link early the next week. This, of course, never happened. From April 7, 2023 to June 5, 2023 I kept refreshing my domain only to see a ******* page, so I decided to send the below text message:" Hey *****, seeing as to the fact that you have elected to do nothing with my website despite the info and content I provided to you back in February, I kindly request a refund for the services described below yet none having been rendered. It has been well over 90 days since you stated you would provide me with an update, and after nothing but delays and false updates, I am deciding to reach out for a full refund that I fundamentally believe I am entitled to. As a friend, please do not reply with more excuses, delays or anything of the sort. Lets not make this anymore legal than it has to be." No response.
