July 2023 Positives: From the Sales **** Loan ******** ****** Rep (could have been a little better, especially with the technology we now have), and Project Manager, they all were **********************. They catered to my every question, worry and concerns with ****** MY experience & the process with SHURM HOMES was flawless and deserves 5+ STARS. I LOVE my new home!!!Negatives: Im an absolute ******** for details and I can tell the contractors and/or inspector(s) did not put 100% of their expertise into paying attention to details. I think they figured, as long as its not falling apart in front of them, then its good to go!Examples: Crooked light fixtures; hit and miss with some paint areas; bottom of the cabinetry had flaws; under the Kitchen Island granite is/was A LOT of white dust/powder substancenow what if a small child were to touch and taste it; some of the blue tape areas were missed (not once, not twice, but a few times or not fixed at all), and my lawn is an absolute MESS compared to the rest of the neighborhood. Nonetheless, Im no ***************** or *** the Builder, however, I do know what right looks like. I can go on about the minor issues (not naming the few MAJOR issues) which I hope will be addressed soon. At the end of the day, Im satisfied and I successfully CLOSED. Again, MY experience and the process with SHURM HOMES was flawless and deserves 5+ STARS. However, I am a little disappointed in the lack of attention to detail put forth into some interior areas of the home by the contractors. Higher contractors who CARE about the outcome of their work. I now have some minor DIY projects to complete. If the site Project Manager doesnt hold the contractors accountable for their work from start to finish, then those families you build for, will hold you, SHURM HOMES, accountable. Nevertheless, thanks SHURM HOMES for another successful build. #NewHomeWhoDis
