      I brought my son in for his first dental appointment at 17 months to the Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of Virginia, **************** location. The Pediatric Dentist was Dr. ***** Gokli and she made me feel like a terrible mother. She told me I needed to be a good parent and stated my son had a cavity that needed filled. She said I should have brought him in when he turned 1 year. I brought my son to a different pediatric dentist the following week and they did a thorough checkup and confirmed he had NO cavities. I am disgusted to think Dr. ***** told me my son needed a procedure that was unnecessary. It makes me wonder if this happens often considering children so young are unable to have X-rays done to check for cavities. I selected this dentist based on the bio of Dr. ****** she sounded like a friendly doctor. However, after meeting Dr. ***** she seemed very arrogant and I believe she should not work with children.
