A retaining wall built by commonwealth curb appeal failed and and had multiple cracks. I contacted CCA mid August when I noticed that the wall was failing. The owner of *** **** **** came about 6 weeks later and found that the drains (3) were covered up and could not properly drain. I was told that *** would resolve the problem. But first they would install crack monitors in about 2 weeks. I was asked to monitor the drains and inform CCA if the were draining after a rain. Which I did. Only one of the drains showed signs of draining. Did not here anything for a while. Made some calls emails and was finally told that warranty work could not be done untill final payment. I never received an invoice for the final payment because the punch list was never completed. December 23 2024 I made final payment and was told I would her something in January. A email form the office manager said work was to start early April. I was led on by *** and my last contact was with **** **** on March 11 through a scheduled phone call. During that call **** **** stated that the scope of work would be to by the middle of the next week and that they would replace the wall. A call to Powhatan County confirmed that *** did not get the required permit.

I want to emphasize that *** remains fully committed to completing your repair. Our team was actively working on finalizing the scope of work, aiming to begin the project as early as the beginning of April.
However, before we could commence the work, we were informed that you had retained legal representation. In response, we promptly engaged our attorney to facilitate communication and resolution.
