A contract was signed May 14, 2023 where Commonwealth Renovations was to build a patio with a circular retaining wall. I received a rectangular patio without the circular retaining wall because the contractor stated it would take more concrete than he estimated. During this time I was dealing with the loss of father and was not in town. ** disregarded my requests to perform the work when I was home and rescheduled numerous times. Material to construct the wall was delivered. However, for the wall he built it only took 1/2 pallet of stone to construct the wall. I addressed this with him verbally and he stated those were only pieces of stones removed. I have a picture of the pallet that was delivered. When I decided to complete the wall with a differenct contractor I purchased two pallets and counted the number of stones he used and the number of stones on the pallet. It was then that I realized he charged me for stones and did not use them or leave for me. Please review the email I sent to JD and the text message where he stated he purchased a pallet of stones for me. I informed him I already had the stones delivered and preferred a refund for the stones. He has not responded. I am requesting a refund of $717 for the stones I purchased and he did not use. Also, he constructed a second wall which is how I arrived at the cost for the stones and the glue.

In May of 2023 ****************** hired my company to install a stamped concrete patio with a sitting wall on one end and she wanted to add another sitting wall on the opposite end to duplicate the other side. We installed a wall and there was material left over which my crew then hauled away. About 3 months later, she texted me asking for the stone back. On May 4, 2023 I met with her and offered to send a half pallet of stone to her and she agreed to that. She texted me on May 7, 2023  asking when would she be receiving it and I told her the following Thursday or Friday. Then she asked me also on  May 7th if I could send the pallet to her contractor. Then again on the same day she asked me to send funds to her contractor. I texted her back that I had paid for a full pallet to be delivered on that Thursday or Friday.   Later that same day May 7th, she sent a text cancelling the order. She has been all over the place and I am just trying to get her pallet to her. Now she has requested that I send her $717.00. I don't feel she has handled this fairly and feel she is trying to take advantage of my company but I would be willing to give her the $717.00 to be finished with this. I have text messages as well proving all of this.
