    I am filing a complaint against Alliance Exposition Services LLC due to the lack of transparent pricing for their services and exorbinant over charging for services. The date of the transaction were at the **************************** medical conference from April *****th, 2024.Alliance was not in any way shape or form transparent about pricing for shipping and receiving services for packages for this conference. Due to safety concerns we as exhibitors were not permitted to have packages sent to the hotel and thus we were left with virtually no choice BUT to use Alliance. After repeatedly questioning the amount we were charged, as you will see in the email uploaded below we were told we were sent terms and conditions and pricing information. No where on that document are prices, so if we were sent that, it would have been useless. When you ****** alliance it says "Flexible, Honest Pricing," We found our experience with them anything but.

    It is clear from the email thread that our concierge **** ***** was engaged with this customer since March 25th. ***** also mentions that each shipment will incur material handling fees. Our outreach with customers on this event started on March 8th with a link and login information for Alliance portal to order services. Our concierge rep will then do eight outreach emails to help anyone with questions and to help process orders. The only contact we were given for this event was ***********************. All of our outreach emails were sent to that contact. Emails encourage exhibitors to place orders for material handling prior to shipping so they are aware of the charges beforehand. Our concierge rep also tries to get pre-orders processed to avoid any surprise charges. The email string ends with *****, our concierge rep asking for the weight of the shipments so she can get the orders processed. ***** follows up and does not receive a response. The shipments arrive at our warehouse and are billed accordingly. The customer is clearly not concerned with the cost until after the service has been provided. The document presented regarding the lack of transparent information on pricing is not where one would find that information if they log into the portal, using the login information sent on 3/8/24. Screen shot attached of where the pricing is outlined once a customer logs in. We provide proactive outreach concierge service to avoid just this issue. We can't make the customer engage if they are unwilling to. We are still obligated to provide the service if they chose to ship to our warehouse.
