    DO NOT HIRE!!! I had to file a claim with Carlos Cadavid’s insurance company. His name was given to me by a friend who was happy with his work, but what I experienced was the complete opposite. First of all, the job was supposed to take 12 business days, but after twice that time had lapsed, it was not finished. Carlos simply up and left and didn’t finish the job. He started out working carefully, doing what appeared to be nice work, but then the last three walls of the bathroom looked as if a first-time tiler had done them. Tile was sticking out everywhere, and there were gaps between the tile, ceiling, and window. I couldn't understand how a man who claimed to be proud of his work could leave me with a mess like this. On top of that, he had dropped the shower door and had shattered it into a million pieces. I finally had to file a claim with Carlos’ insurance. I started to wonder what was really behind the walls of my bathroom. An independent adjuster came, who agreed that the bathroom needed to be ripped out completely and started from scratch. SO glad I did that! My bathroom is being demoed as we “speak,” and the men doing it were surprised to find the walls were NOT waterproof, which would’ve lead to moisture getting back there and big problems. On top of that, Carlos tiled over wallpaper that had been on the walls in the bathroom. This would’ve lead to more of a moisture problem, as well as the tiles literally falling right off the walls. Very scary to think you trust people who are doing nothing but damaging your home.
