    Business denies responsibility for water damage that occurred to cabinet under kitchen sink within 1 year warranty.Business refuses to complete original job by completing the trim around microwave shelf. Denies responsibility.Originally called the business 10/27 at 12:43pm. Someone by the name of ***** answered and asked for photos of the damage. Emailed photos. They denied responsibility and said it would cost $525 to fix.. I said I was unhappy. ***** said to call ***** (the owner). I Called *****. He denied responsibility. He said it occurred due to negligence. I contacted a plumber today 11/8 at 11:36 He said it occurred due to improper install of the faucet.I called ***** (refresh) again today at 11:49am He denied responsibility. ************* was checked when work was done.Emailed him saying I would pay the $525 to fix the cabinet floor if he completed the original job which included trim around the microwave shelf. They denied responsibility for incomplete work. and also said they will not talk to me anymore because my name is not on the contract. My name is *********************. I am the son of ****** and ***********************. The people who signed the contract and I also live in their home.

    There must be some confusion as to the scope of kitchen work that Refresh Cabinets performed for your parents. Refresh Cabinets replaced and painted your parentsdoors, drawer fronts and added a few cabinet accessories for them. Refresh Cabinets did NOT do their plumbing. As previously discussed, we would suggest calling the plumber your parents hired to replace the faucet. If your parents wish to have the cost of the damage covered by them.  

    As for the trim around the microwave that you reference, again, please check with your parents. Refresh Cabinets completed all work requested, approved and paid for by your parents a year ago. Adding trim to the microwave was not discussed or included in their line-by-line estimate. Therefore, was not within the scope of work to be performed by us.

    We are more than happy to repair the damage caused by the leak. The quote for that work has been given. However, please have your parents reach out to us to discuss and schedule since they are our actual contracted client.
