I am not liable for this debt with Bryant Stratton. I do not have a contract with the collection agency trying to collect and reporting this to my credit report. They did not provide me with the original contract as requested.

I use to like this school. I am a student who does not have her degree because of *********************************************************** even the start. When I re-enrolled with financial aid they never said it was a balance from a prior semester. My graduate year was last year, 2020 can you imagine how hard it was not having a ceremony, then not being able to pick up my degree I worked hard for because of $700. Two and half years of hard work and I dont have my degree. I am not impressed by that especially during a pandemic when money is tight for everyone. Not to mention there adding interesting to that

In April 2018, I graduated with my ADN from Bryant and Stratton. I had been told that I couldn't go to my pinning or "walk" for graduation (I chose not to do that one anyway) if I owed a balance to the college. They offered a scholarship if I did a paper about future career, etc. I left, thinking now I only owed the federal government money in forms of student loans. Flash forward a year later, I tried to get a federal job, my transcripts were sent by 2/3 schools, I contacted BSC and got no response, but took a different job, no worries. This year, I'm attempting to get into my MSN program, and I ordered my transcripts on parchment, which told me BSC refused to send because of a "balance." When I called, I was told I'd get a call back, and attempted 4 times. All calls recorded. Today was attempt 4, found out I'm being charged $350 for a class I TESTED out of. This wouldn't have even been an issue had they told me about this, mailed a bill, or given me a call. They never provided me a way to pay, and I'd appreciate receiving their documentation of my charges owed. $350 seems hefty for only taking a test. Why wasn't there a talk prior to graduation? I have all my documentation from the school and would like a resolution to my problem. I am one of 4 of my classmates that has had this issue.

In August of 2022, I was informed that my transcripts couldn't be sent due to a hold on my account. It actually took so long to get help that I was unable to start my program, but I was relieved that Bryant and Stratton figured out they had made an error and said they would make my account balance 0. This is documented on the complaints section of the BBB, I accepted the solution. Today, I was informed by *********************** that they have not received transcripts I paid to have sent. The reason is the same as my previous complaint that was "resolved" two years ago. "In April 2018, I graduated with my ADN from Bryant and Stratton. I had been told that I couldn't go to my pinning or "walk" for graduation (I chose not to do that one anyway) if I owed a balance to the college. Attached is a screenshot also showing the response from the school, though it was not done.
