      I brought my car to them to have it repaired after buying it from and Auction and driving it home I knew what repairs I could do and what would need a professional and to keep down cost I decided I would do the work that I could but because one of the O2 sensors was stuck I just decided to let them handle it all I called talked with a Guy name ***** explained everything the car needed sent a text with the previous rejected inspection and was told he would handle it all and even try to beat the price from where I got the previous repair quote. Unfortunately they ended up scamming me out o* ***** He didn’t do ANY of the repairs he said he was going she did unnecessary repairs and hiked up the price for it and stripped one of my ignition coil units it was all bad they even installed the alternator incorrectly as well as the only other part they repaired which caused the strip they didn’t repair ANY of the other stuff I was charged for. It took two days for me to get in touch with the manager ****** who’s and even bigger scammer after explaining things to him he wasn’t to try and get aggressive over the phone I let him know I will be reaching out to every social media platform I know to keep other people from being Scammed he said threats like that don’t bather him and do get a reaction out of him but that wasn’t a threat at all. When I told him I wanted to be refunded for everything but the two actual parts that was put in my car he said no they were only willing to redo the repairs I explained that wasn’t an option because I didn’t want them touching my car again and we basically got nowhere. I decided to make a complaint because they committed on my google review but when I emailed NO ONE ever got back to me and their company is supposed to be rated by you all after my experience and reading those reviews they shouldn’t be. They are scamming people out of thousands!

      The work was completed as per the work order and the work was paid by a third party charity that approved the work. We will not be refunding the charitie's money to the car owner. If the charity would like to speak to us they can reach out to us to discuss this, we would like to speak to them as well.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue, we've reached a stalemate. I've lost count of how many times I've contacted Tuneup plus, only to be met with dismissal and deflection.


      Their response ignores the core issues:


      1. Failure to perform agreed-upon work.
      2. Unauthorized inspection report.
      3. Disregard for payment documentation.


      Instead, Tuneup plus's General Manager, ******, continues asking for the non-profit organization's information, disregarding the fact that I'm the complainant. This repetitive request is a clear avoidance tactic.


      I've provided ample evidence, including:


      - Payment documentation
      - Photos
      - Jiffy Lube's work confirmation


      ******'s responses:


      - Refuse to acknowledge evidence
      - Dismiss my concerns
      - Fail to address the non-profit's involvement


      This pattern of unresponsiveness and dismissal is alarming. Tuneup plushas shown no willingness to resolve this dispute or take responsibility for their actions.


      I request the ****s assistance in holding Tune up plus accountable for their business practices.

      Sent my vehicle to get serviced at this auto shop received my vehicle back with the same issue as when I sent it ask for them to see why the check engine light was still on and I’m still having the same issue was told to drive 50 miles to see results my car came out the same way I sent it not fixed manger refused to give me there name all the codes are still on the dash issue was not resolved and I was told to get out of there establishment because I asked why my car was not serviced correctly.

      There is a 12 month and or a 12,000 mile warranty on all parts and labor, the client must bring the vehicle in for warranty for assistance. The client disputed his credit card transaction and has elevated this to a leagal collection matter and there has been no communication from the client to resolve this. We will not be giving the client **** worth of service and parts at no charge so if they would like this matter resolved they will need to speak to us before this is in court.

      Also I’ve tried to resolve the issue at your HAMPTON, Virginia location where your manager refuses to give me his name and was told to get out of his establishment because on the receipt as you can see it clearly stated to bring the car back if the check engine light was on but because your manager didn’t have an answer he kicked us out told me to take it to Buick so the lights can be took off. I’ve took my car to Buick and they also confirmed the work that was suppose to be done was not done I have receipts of that also I’ve called tune up plus at *** ************ sq to speak with **** ******* to resolve the issue two days ago still no response! I came in to get my car fixed and walked out with a *** dollar bill without my can fixed with the same issues all they had to say was they were not able to service me instead of trying to get over on me. That manager who is at the service desk should be investigated. I’ve never been anywhere that a manager tells a customer they don’t have to give them a name because it doesn’t matter.

      I took my 1989 pontiac firebird to get a full vehicle inspection. It had been in storage until i got back from deployment. I asked to do a full check-up and tune up. I ended up being charged ****** over the phone for supposedly parts that had to change and for labor. I told ***** to hold on and that i wanted to go in before i made the payment.
      I felt forced to make the payment because by the time i got there, my car was up on a lift, and it was already taken apart, before i agreed to make a payment for the work to start on the job! I asked him if there was anything that could wait, and ***** said that all the parts were already ordered, so no, which he made me believe there was nothing I could do. When i picked up my car, the mechanics were sitting there laughing because i kept asking questions when i turned my vehicle on, and it started making a noise it hadn't made before.. ***** said to drive it and bring it in on Tuesday to get it checked. The next day, i tried to start my vehicle, and it died, and the service engine light came on. So i opened my hood, and one of the things i was charged for was for the battery hold down kit... which turns out they didn't even install. My battery was still the same as before... no hold down kit... they also didn't fill up all the fluids in the car, i found a leak and a missing bolt around the engine. Should I now believe *****, the general manager, took advantage and charged extra for work they didn't do? unfortunately, I am wondering if he sabotaged my car so that I could bring it in again. Seeing that they didn't install something so simple like the battery hold down kit... makes me believe they didn't even change all the other parts he charged me for. Do not go to this place... they will rob you!!

      I had denied the removal of the reviews from the beginning. I agreed to change the review, however, if my car was fixed. They didnt offer the refund in good faith as the business stated.   They offered a refund only if i sign a contract to remove my review... that is not what refunding is good faith is. 

      Also...my car is still not fixed.

      The vehicle was fixed and running under warranty as agreed and the client was suppose to remove the negative reviews when they picked up their car and as a courtesy we would refund some of their expense but since they changed their minds the agreement was canceled and their warranty was voided, there is no further resolution on our part.

      On august 19 2022 I put a deposit, paid by credit card, in the amount of $***** to Tune Up Plus for a new engine for my truck. The estimated time for completion was 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks they still had not received the engine. At 11 weeks, I called to be told we were 8th in line to receive a new engine from a company they could not disclose the name of. And was told by the manager Trevor that we would be looking into the new year before possibly getting the truck fixed. After having to paid each month for a rental vehicle, I could no longer afford to keep waiting over the 6-8 week timeframe that I was originally given. I had to get my truck towed to my residence and was not able to receive any of my deposit. I received no product or no service.
