    This company is incompetent i put in a cancelation of service by email on 04/22/2024 to have my service cancel I called them several times because I keep getting texts about my account needs attention and the told me my account was in cancelation to just ignore the text until the system catch up with the cancelation well to my surprise then text messages finally stopped so all this time I'm thinking my account is close until one day *** ******** calls me and say I owe a bill and I like why I don't use your service and then she tells me alder security sold them my account as open I tried calling alder security back but they said it was nothing they can do I think this is wrong that they are able to do this type of business to paying customers who did the right thing by sending in the cancelation form by email and then to be told by customer service several times you account will be close and to find out they took your money and sold your account to another company as an open account for me to only be surprise by a bill I shouldn't have they are wrong in every way now I'm out of *** ******* to pay another company to have my account closed they should have been closed already shame on you alder security taking advantage of people who been loyal customers to you for years

    If I could give no stars I would. Argued for a year because of faulty or non working at all equipment.
    Customer service is outsourced, oversea, absolutely horrible!
    I was also given a smoke alarm which was supposed to a co detector !
    Had a kitchen incident. Fire dept was long gone by the time they called me.
    I could go on and on .
    STAY AWAY !

    They come in picking up the signs of other security companies and act like they are them and then tie you into them.
    Their customer service is terrible today. I was on the phone with them for 53 minutes and I could not get the representative to get me to a team leader or supervisor. Finally, I had to scream at him to get me to scheduling so they could come and do something after I changed the Internet providers and their outdoor camera will not accept the changes that I make online. They wanted me a 73 year old woman to get on a ladder and get a Signal from the camera that’s on a roof 8 feet from me. I had to fight to get the scheduling and then they couldn’t guarantee me an appointment at that time of the call. They said they would call me back with a time that I could schedule this is a terrible company I want out of the contract. I want to go back to where I was before and I’m locked in for the next five years for this terrible service and terrible online experience.
