OpenSky was paid in full moths ago by myself on an account that had been closed for over 2 years. They are reporting my information wrong ever month even though I have contacted them multiple times in regards to the FACR laws but to no avail. I paid the account to $0 on a closed account and now they are reporting a revolving/ open /unpaid account. The are killing my Credit score every month and will not report the accurate information that has been provided to them to the credit bureaus. I have filed multiple disputes through the bureaus as well but they won't correct the inaccuracies.

Incorrect credit reporting of a 30 day late payment which they have continually acknowledged, agreed and stated they notified the CBR's in Oct 2021 to correct, but It still has not been deleted or resolved! They could have easily just either not responded to the disputes, or respond and delete the 30 day lat but they just keep verifying this! When the account was initially opened the first card was not delivered to me and was returned to Capbk - OpenSky. I first became aware that there was an issue when one of my credit report monitoring services flagged as a 30 day late payment on this account. I immediately called CapBk and the lady I spoke with confirmed that the card had been returned to them. She said she would resend the card to our mailing address (which she did, I received and have used the account since that time without ANY late payments) she indicated at that time that she would correct and remove the 30 day late because of the circumstances. My husband took over and followed up several times in the next 90- 120 days as well as filed a dispute with the credit bureaus. He reached them again in approximately March of 2022 and they again stated again that they had sent the CBR's the deletion and update and would follow that up again. We also disputed with the CBR's after 45 days when it did not update and they reverified it again! We filed a complaint with the CFPB against the CBR's and Opensky to NO avail!!! WE have called and disputed this so many times, this is really an unfair credit practice in accordance with the FCRA. This is really very unbelievable that with all of the credit regulations (FCRA, FDCPA) and supposed regulatory enforcement via the CFPB etc, this should have been resolved long ago! This has financially impacted our finances. and we are reviewing additional measures which we'd prefer to resolve amicably, if this can't be resolved voluntarily by CapBk-Opensky. It really shouldn't have gotten to this point.

Going through my credit reports, after finding a false account and erroneous information, I located this trade line well. And am demanding it be removed from all 3 credit bureaus on my credit reports immediately and permanently. As I do not own, nor do I owe this company any money. They are inhibiting my financial future by having this fake trade line associated to my credit and it needs to be handled. My attorney has already advised me to make a formal complaint on an open forum to give this company a chance to rectify this situation, but if not, litigation will be filed and a lawsuit will be bought against them.

Subject: Delayed Refund of Secured Deposit by Open Sky CC Description of the Problem:I contacted Open Sky CC on April 19th, 2023, to close my secured credit card account with a zero balance. They assured me a $200.00 deposit refund would be sent via mail. However, the check was returned on May 22nd due to an incorrect address. Despite verifying my address multiple times, Open Sky CC issued another check on May 24th, which they claimed got lost in the mail. After numerous calls and delays, they now state I will receive the third check refund in mid-July. I seek assistance in obtaining a prompt resolution from Open Sky CC.
