    In 2017 I hired ElevationBuild to replace my roof. They made fraudulent claims during that process, for which I filed a separate BBB complaint.I just noticed they have posted a fake testimonial purporting to be from me on their website (***************************************************). I contacted the company through their website to demand they delete this latest fraud and remove my name and photo from their website. This is the message I sent them: "Please delete my photo and the testimonial that is posted in my name. It is fraudulent. I never wrote it, and I never submitted it. Our house did not have any skylights. You might recall we lodged a BBB complaint against you and your company for fraudulently telling us you could issue a special manufacturer guarantee."This is the testimonial they put under my name, which is all completely made up:"I was very pleased in the complete interaction, I can't say how great of a job the ElevationBuild team did installing the roof on my home. When they removed the roof they even rebuilt my skylights and put new flashing with leak barrier to make sure they wouldn't leak. Now I don't have to replace my skylights and saved a lot of money since they are reflashed and sealed, we were on a tight budget and no other contractor wanted to do it accept ElevationBuild. Thank you for making our budget work and taking care of our home. We will recommend you to all of our family that need remodeling."Presumably some of the other testimonials they have posted are similarly fake.

    I'm really confused there is no review on our site that has his information: ********************************************************;  please review yourself. I had spoken to the gentleman prior and told him that we have a third party company that handles the website and they had contacted him to get the testimonial. After review all information of this gentleman was removed and he is happy after speaking with him.

    The company contacted me and resolved my complaint by taking the requested action (removing reference to me from their website and improving their vetting process for testimonials).  Please consider this resolved/retracted.
