I was reported 90+ days late by Aidvantage (a division of Maximus ****************** resulting in a nearly 200-point drop to my FICO score, which had been over 800 for more than a decade. I was never properly notified that my federal student loan payments had resumed after COVID forbearance. They used a long-defunct email and a phone number that, to this day, answers as not in service. Despite having my updated home mailing address on file, they failed to send any physical mail. My autopay was also canceled without notice, removing the safeguard I had relied on for years.I only discovered the delinquency after seeing the credit damage. I immediately paid the full balance and have since filed disputes with all three credit bureaus, the ****, and the Department of Education. This was not neglectit was a servicing failure and communication breakdown during the Navient-to-Aidvantage transition. Im calling for a full investigation and correction of this inaccurate and harmful reporting.

****** had major issues with them but theyre just not a great company. They dont offer an app anymore but they dont seem to have bothered to optimize their website for mobile. Its horrible. My biggest complaint with them is that they sure take their time reporting to credit bureaus. They seem to take 2-3 months to update reports with credit bureaus and the reports they provide still seem to be out of date. Its just annoying that it is constantly out of date. Just feels like theyre doing little more than the bare minimum.

My student loans were originally with *******, then MOHELA and later transferred to Aidvantage. I was never informed that PART of my loans were transferred to Aidvantage. As only a portion of them were transferred, the automatic payments that were previously set up with ****** continued without disruption. Aidvantage NEVER contacted me about the transfer or to request a different payment plan. I was unaware of them until I checked my credit report and noticed that I dropped from 784 to 580 due to having 11 open loans with Aidvantage all of which were past due. I reached out Aidvantage about no communication about the transfer, or an attempt to set up a payment plan, etc. and was told that their reporting was accurate so my credit report could not be updated. They failed to address that not once did they contact me about absorbing my loans, scheduling payments, etc. Like I was just supposed to know this information ...?!?!?! AVOID this company at all costs!

THIS COMPANY BOUGHT OLD INFORMATION THAT WAS ALREADY DISPUTED FROM THE PREVIUOS COMPANY KNOWN AS NAVIENT AND WAS CONSIDERED FRAUD, AND NOW HAS REAPPEARED ON MY CREDIT REPORT 380 LATE! I REQUESTED THE MASTER PROMISSORY NOTE THAT PROVED FRAUD THEY REFUSE TO SEND IT AND HAS DAMAGED MY CREDIT WORTHINESS

I haven't received a bill in months...Not needed to make my payments, but I want a paper trail without me having to print or obviously, log in...however, today I log in and SOMEHOW the bills have been going to addresses (MUTIPLE) that I have NOT lived in more than 15 YEARS! I guess a heartbeat is the only requirement needed for AidVantage employment.

Consistently when I log on to pay my bill on the due date my account says overdue. Todays Date: 5/25/25 Due Date: 5/25/25 PAST DUE at 1:30 pm. This is frustrating since I want to stay in good standing with my bills and my credit score. When I call, Im told to pay on my due date. When I explain that I am paying on my due date and its already showing past due, they advise me to pay on my due date. Should I plan on paying several days ahead of my due date to ensure I dont have a past due notice? Remember to pay on your due date. I would just like clear indication of why the due date it is considered past due.

For a while, I was doing pretty good building my credit - making payments on time and borrowing and repaying small amounts at a time. Then, all of a sudden, I saw a drop of over 200 points due to a surprise report from Aidvantage. I had been in deferral for multiple years due to disability and financial hardship, until the pandemic hit and Biden's pause on student loans apparently reset that status. It seems as if they assumed that this justified requiring regular payments again. When I didn't pay them - as per usual - they must have decided to report their error as my own. What these goons don't seem to understand is that decimating someone's credit score like that can hamper their financial prospects, which then decreases their ability to repay student loans. After contacting them, nothing was done to correct this mistake, and as a result I have had to postpone significant steps in my financial progression. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptiles.

Recertified an icr plan November 30th for a deadline of February 20th because of a backlog of recertification applications they never processed it on time now they claim I miss the deadline and have increased my payments to a standard payment plan of $1,074 per month which is way beyond my budget I'm retired now and living on Social Security and a small pension I read an article that claims that they're suspicious of the recertification processing accusing the servicer of purposefully not recertifying on time

An advocate named ******** did reach out to me and stated that my issues with recertification was an IT problem and that she would make it a priority to address it. I know there has been much confusion with the status of student loans, but I eagerly await the completion of my recertification since it has been five months since I submitted it and would like the situation rectified as soon as possible. My status for an astronomical payment has not changed since speaking to her, but I will observe it daily to see any changes.

I have had issue after issue with them. I originally had 1 loan with them. I did a teacher forgiveness loan (which I got a run around for this too) and now I have two loans with them. They said both loans have always been there but they haven't. I called in Dec 2025 talked to ****** and she said I got approved for $5000 for my teacher student loan and I was getting it all. Called in February for another reason, that I will get to in a minute, and found out I was only approved for $4456.66 and that I have to reapply for student loan forgiveness to pay off the second loan that I didn't have but now I do. I will be calling *** about this. The original reason I called was I put a payment through that was paying off the rest of my balance and it did not go through. I never got an email or letter explaining this and why it happened. They claim I had insufficient funds, not true though I had well over enough funds. Oh and before I spoke to ***** I was on the phone with **** and I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor, due to too many issues going on. I was put on hold then someone picked up, heard voices in the distance and then I was disconnected. That's when I got *****, might I add at this point I am ****** because I am tired of getting run around for months on different matters. ***** *. was very professional. She probably deserves a raise. Lastly I was told that I took off autopay, again I started taking notes after having issue after issue, nowhere in the notes does it say I asked for auto pay to be taken off. I wouldn't do that. I dont know why I was given to this company in the first place, I never signed up with them originally. I was with Mohela not Aidvantage. My loans were sold to them and I am not happy about their service since day 1. I do not recommend to anyone
