    On 1-08-25 dropped off my 2016 Dodge Durango I advised Turners auto my truck was running rough & engine hot flash on dash requested the variable timing control valve replaced. Speak with ****** Auto by phone advised my truck needed transmission tune up and transmission control module would solve the issue. On 1-18-25 paid ******* & picked up ******* within 30 minutes of leaving Turners auto my check engine light came on vehicle started bucking and shifting harshly. Took Durango back same day to Turners auto spoke with ****** shop manager advised will look and fix my truck. I advised my vehicle was not bucking and transmission gears wasnt shifting harshly prior to leaving my truck with there shop. On 1-21-25 spoke with shop manager ****** admitted on recorded call advised my vehicle was ready for pick up advise he had computer programmer to erase my vehicle computer to remove the check engine light advised he added additional transmission fluid, vehicle running fine with no issues On 1-23-25 I had truck towed from turners auto to dodge dealership they reviewed Turners invoice indicated they put ATF transmission fluid which incorrect for my truck takes Mopar ZF 8 &9 fluid advised I would need new transmission they test drove the vehicle still bucking and transmission gears shifting harshly concluded my truck was not fixed. I contacted Turners auto 1-28-25 advised Shop manager ****** they need to resolve this issue he stated he would call me back same day in a hour and he never called me back. I never heard back from shop in response to resolve request on 1-28-25 I provided multiple opportunities for the shop to do the right thing. Due to there lack of response do not feel comfortable with them working on my vehicle requesting a refund and working with another shop for repairs. Due to there negligence caused ongoing nightmare On 3-27-25 had the transmission flush and pan replacement trying to salvage transmission will have to wait week to see this fix issue

    The Dealer condemned the transmission solely based on the use of an accepted equivalent Valvoline product. This has nothing to do with the transmission issues the customer initially tried to conceal. We are not liable for a transmission replacement.

    I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
     On 1/08/25 I requested Turners auto to repair my circuit timing control valve on Durango, which does not have nothing to with the transmission. Turners auto advised they will conduct their own independent diagnostic test to determine issue of my vehicle. Turners auto  instructed me in order to fix my vehicle  they suggested I needed a transmission flush and transmission control module to fix my vehicle. I trusted their word and allowed to them to perform the work on my truck. I did not conceal anything from Turners auto. I advised in my prior statements my vehicle was  not bucking and shifting gears harshly prior to Turners auto working on my vehicle. The dodge dealership and ****** transmission specialist both concluded the wrong transmission fluid was used per Turners auto invoice. Both specialist indicated my vehicle was not fixed if my vehicle  still bucking. I have disputed the transaction with credit card company and they ruled in my favor.
