The complaint has not been resolved and **** from Creative Contracting has not responded to my email attempts despite the Admin, ***** telling me that they would "circle back."

I plan to follow up with a Demand Letter once I receive an estimate for repairs from a different company since they won't engage with me.

I did offer to pay the remaining $1,800 that was added to the final invoice without being provided requested details such as supply costs and HVAC contact and project scope, but again, did not receive any follow up from the company. g and after four attempts via both email and phone calls to inquire about the diagnosis and repair of the paint issues, I was advised in an email today, 1.29.25: "********, Unfortunately , we will not be able to warranty any of the work performed in 2024. On advice from our company Counsel , due to underpayment on the invoice dated 6-19-2024, the warranty is void and we are released of all claims. Best, ***** ******." When working with **** throughout the project he requested I do not inform or discuss the cost of the project with his lead painter, also named ****, told me to "adjust my expectations" and stated, "we don't want to get lawyers involved." In the context of all of this, something doesn't feel right to me. I feel scammed, played and manipulated. My question for the BBB is: Do I have any consumer rights in this situation? Thanks. ******** ****

    Business Response

We sent a senior Supervisor and a 2nd senior Supervisor to the **** home on 8-9-24. My senior lead Supervisor stated that we corrected multiple pre-existing conditions ( not part of our original contract). He stated we went above and beyond the original scope to make the customer satisfied. They told him we are happy with the results. Our final invoice was submitted on 6-19-24 for $28,847.09. Which included ,multiple NO CHARGES (zero add charges) on added workmanship. My senior Supervisor felt like it was a toxic work environment at the end of the project. The same senior Supervisor stated he was scared to go back in the home. He said he never stated nor mentioned dont want to get lawyers involved, nor did he ever use the term adjust my expectations to ********. The final invoice was accurate  ($28,847.09) for the work we performed . The client choose some random figure that she had decided she was going to pay, which was $27,000.00. According to our counsel underpayment of the final invoice constitutes full release of all claims. Our company has no desire to have contact with this person again.
