We purchased flooring from LL flooring in Jan 2022. First, appt was made for Feb 14, 2022. that appt got changed twice. Finally, after SW contractor measured the project and materials delivered. Flooring installation began. During the installation, I noticed the Installer did not follow the basic Instruction on the box. The Installer was not using all the flooring and creating much waste. Other flaws include no expansion gaps throughout installation, Chipped edges, splinters along plank edges, transition strips not correctly installed, the gaps between the planks distinct color pattern on the floor from the Installer not pulling from multiple boxes. We notified Lumber Liquidator During the Installation in May and contacted the contractor in June of all the installation issues. We sent dozens of pictures showing all the damaged planks, ill-fitting transitions, Gaps, and lack of expansion gaps SW Contractor emailed on Jun 7 wanting to schedule repairs with the same Installer, to which I said no. On Jun 8, I opened a case file with all flooring customer care. Fast forward to now,, I have had at least 50 calls, two case workers, and I still have terrible floors. My case is still currently in the process and LL flooring cant get their contractor to give them a solid repair plan. And to make matters worse, they want to tear out the floors to assess the subfloor, leaving me with a kitchen without mitigating the loss of use, which ll flooring should cover.

I bought flooring, and contracted with Ll Flooring to have flooring installed on my main floor, and downstairs in June 2022. They delivered the flooring so it could acclaimmate. In July 2022, they contracted with ************************* to install it for them. ****** walked off the job 3 times, but finally installed the downstairs flooring. ****** wanted an extra $9K, to redo the subfloor upstairs, even though the subflooring was part of the original contract. I refused, and was refunded for the upstairs through ********************* *************. The flooring that was installed downstairs was said to have a lifetime warranty. It started buckling, and cracking inside of a month. I contacted *** again, who is always very polite, kind and helpful, however since the flooring had already been installed he had to send a request to the head office in Virginia **************. Apparently, a ghost named ******** is supposed to be helping me with a refund so I can put new flooring in, and have it installed by my contractor that I was forced to acquire because of all this. It is October. It has been well over a month that I have repeatedly been asking to get a call from the ghost named *********** who is supposed to be in charge of my case and never once gotten a call back from her. I have asked repeatedly to have my case escalated to a manager and have them call me back, but again nothing. The cost of the flooring and installation is over $4K. I just want to be reimbursed so I can have it redone and never have to deal with these people again. Thank you.

I am trying to get my wood floor repaired. It is still under warranty but the Store does not want to repair it. I have sections of the flooring that is peeling. The store says their installers looked at the floor and said the issue was the office chair. 1. The installers NEVER came to my house to look at the floor. 2. My office chairs have 3 inch rubber wheels specifically made for wood floors. The store is not being truthful.

I purchased flooring and installation from LL Flooring. In the initial estimate for the flooring, they forgot to include costs for transition pieces and moldings after stating the estimate would represent those costs. Upon paying the added cost, they never included the molding which wasn't found out till the day of installation. The board sizes were misrepresented by 2 different employees and in their own imagery. This caused me to pay for shipping from store to store and store to home. The installers came and damaged the wall that was just done as well as put the floor down poorly. After the installer came back he noticed many of the wood boards were damaged/cut (from the store) and shouldn't have been put down at all. My case manager has refused to contact people in any other form other than through email, while simultaneously stating she is having system issues that include missed email (receiving and sending). I had to plead with her to call the installer after a week, which was the only reason he knew about the issue as they hadn't received the email. The case manager has set up multiple call times and has never kept any of them or informed me of her being unable to attend. I have to continue calling everyday and refuse to accept a call back and wait on hold to get them on the phone or they never respond. I've had to call the sales department to get store location and quantities of the flooring to see if there is enough to replace the floor, because they refused to do so and only would send out a request. Its now been weeks of waiting to even get this far and this is only due to me actually doing the work for the case manager. I have now been waiting a few days to speak to the case manager's supervisor as I have no confidence in their ability to do anything but avoid answering calls. As of yet I still haven't heard back and they still haven't sent the paperwork to the installer they said is needed to continue.

While we have come to an agreement in principle and have a new contract to replace the floor, it has yet to be fulfilled.  Until everything is completed, I am hesitant to call this resolved though.  Please let me know what is customary to do in this situation.

On 8/28/22 I purchased flooring for my bathroom/dressing room. I had a sample and when they installed the flooring I checked the *** info and I realized they gave me a flooring made in ******** not in ******* as I had ordered. They also did not put in a subfloor in the dressing room. Project Manager, ****, stated it was the correct floor and I disagreed as I still have the sample I had given him. When they installed the floor they removed the toilet, nicked my wall in process and set toilet on carpeted hall way. Also, I had to pick up flooring in ***********, ** and go to a different location to pick up molding and baseboard. I discussed putting in a subfloor as I was not educated about me needing one. They returned and redid floor with a subfloor. ***** was never replaced with the floor I actually ordered. That was not an option. I was told to call ************* to report damage to carpet and wall. I did, sent pictures and was assigned a case manager named, *********, in which she has not called to resolve this situation ( I have left her 2 messages and no response)and it's been 2 weeks and was told they respond in 24/48 hours. This company is fraudulent by giving me a product I did not request and their customer service is horrible.

Flooring was purchased on 10/22/2021. Installation was completed on 11/29/2021 by a contracted company associated with LL Flooring. Reached out to LL Flooring when noticing that pieces of the flooring were raising up or separating around 3/1/2022. Spoke with a representative named ***** who took over for the case manager assigned named ******. I sent photos to them showing the issues and they agreed to come out and repair the issues. On 3/11/2022, I emailed LL Flooring about the company not arriving as scheduled to repair the floor. On 7/30/2022, I reached out to LL Flooring again about the flooring separating and sent photos again of the issues. ****** assisted me and then went completely ghost for weeks, until finally ***** stepped back in and assisted. When the second contracting company came out to look at what needed to be repaired, they stated that the flooring in the living room was done entirely wrong. I inquired about receiving a refund from the first contracted company or LL Flooring because we paid $700+ for them to level the floor by pouring concrete which apparently was done incorrectly. Was told it would be brought up to management but I have yet to hear back from anyone from the company. When I asked to speak to management today, I was told they were unavailable and I'd have to fill out a form that they send into management and wait for a response. After waiting over 4 weeks total to have this issue remedied, being told no when asked to be refunded for work that was done incorrectly, and then still having a roadblock when trying to speak to management is insane. This is a terrible company in terms of customer service and installation. I would never patronize this company again and I urge anyone reading this to follow suit and avoid giving them any of your money. I have emails and photos of proof if need be to resolve this matter.

Purchased new flooring from ll flooring complete with installation services.New flooring installed in July. A week after new flooring installed, noticed a spot on my floor that doesn't lay flat (bouncy). Contacted installers and ll flooring to have someone look at and address issue.Filed a warranty claim.I am being told someone will come by to assess and no one has come. I filed the claim two months ago and no action.

I have attached a record of correspondence with my case manager over the past month. The message has always been that someone should be reaching out to me and that has yet to happen. I have been more than patient and it is wearing very thin at this time. If the contractor is too busy to rectify an installation error, then LL Flooring should find an alternative solution for their services.

I purchased LVP flooring on 11/30/21 after consulting with store personnel about the best flooring to suit my needs. I had received a quote from their installation contractor shortly before that. I was told that the flooring would need to acclimate for at least three days after it was brought into my house, and then it could be installed. I was not contacted by the store when the flooring arrived. I waited a few weeks, then called to follow up. They told me that the flooring had been in their warehouse for a while. I picked it up and waited for a call to schedule installation. A week went by, and I called again. This would have been mid-January or so. I was told that the contractor was really busy, but they would let him know I was waiting. I would call a few more times over the next several weeks, always being told the same thing. Eventually, I found the contractor's direct number and called him. He told me that he quit working for LL at the end of December, which told me that the store had been dishonest about the situation. Finally, they had an out-of-state contractor schedule installation in mid-March.The flooring did not seem to be holding up as well as I had hoped only a few months later. It is very susceptible to scratches and always looks dirty. In late July, I needed to move my refrigerator and noticed a significant dent in the floor where the refrigerator had been sitting. I contacted the warranty department and was told that this damage was not covered, as the flooring was not designed to withstand heavy furniture. I was pointed back to the warranty document, referenced in my contract but not provided at time of purchase. I questioned why this flooring was sold to me for installation in my whole house if basic appliances were too heavy for it. I was offered a $150 store credit, which is not much use to me. Since the whole floor will likely need to be replaced sooner than expected, I asked for a partial refund back to my card and was denied.

I was offered a $150 store credit to replace the damaged flooring. However, if I replace the flooring with the same product, it is just going to be damaged again. I'm still going to have a fridge, and the floor is going to dent. There is no point in attempting to repair the issue. My entire kitchen will need new, different flooring, and that's not what I want either. I want my house to have consistent flooring throughout.

Again, I was not told at the time of purchase that the floor could not withstand normal household use, when I told the sales representative that I was going to be using this flooring in my entire home.

I request a partial refund for the damaged product, as I was misled when making my purchase and the floor cannot reasonably be repaired.

This offer was made as a gesture of goodwill as the concerns are not covered within manufacturing guidelines. I understand that the manufacturer does not cover my issue. If I haven't made it clear, my issue is with the store selling me product for a purpose other than the manufacturer's intended use. I told the store what I needed the flooring for, and I was sold a product that could not meet my needs.

The fault is with the store, and I expect my issue to be resolved by the seller.

As outlined in the warranty, installation, and care documents for this product can be dented and scratched. Flooring protectors should be used for furniture and appliances. LL Flooring has extended a goodwill offer to the customer to assist then in getting new product for the impacted area and to assist in the cost to repair. There are no indications that the floor is not performing as designed.

Once again, I understand the flooring is performing as designed. I never should have been sold this flooring in the first place, as it was not designed for my needs. I was not provided the full warranty document at time of purchase, nor should I have needed to read it to discover that it wouldn't work for me. I explained to the sales representative what I needed, and I bought what he suggested.

This is why I believe the store is responsible for my issue. There was no fault with the manufacturing for this item, but I was sold an incorrect product.

December 18 2021 I purchased DV Tuscan Rang Maple w/pad flooring for my home in the amount of $14,988.40 from LL Flooring in ******* ***** ***********************************************. I have had the issue with my flooring bucking for over 90 days. The installation crews will arrive to repair the issue by doing the very least they can do which will last for about a week. Then after a week I am back right where i started with the same issue just in a different location or with additional locations. The last visit, which was visit four from the installation crew the installation manager told me he was not going to send his crew back out to repair the issue again. This has been a ongoing battle with LL Flooring to get them to just do what they promised to do in the beginning. I am seeking the repair of my flooring, replacement of material which was used with my consent, and compensation for the inconvieance. I also have a much longer statement with dates and who I have spoken with at LL Flooring 16 times with no results.

We had wooden flooring installed in the entire house. After several price hikes the job completed in 2021. The flooring in our office room started to peel. I contacted LL Flooring in July 2022 concerning this issue. I sent them the photos the requested and eventually a person was sent out to look at the floor and took additional pictures. Then no further action was taken. I called LL Flooring several times with no action. I called again on Sep 19, 2022 and they told me the floor had been repaired and case closed. However, the floor was NEVER repaired. They said they would check with the installers and call me back. Never received a call back.I would like for LL Flooring to repair my floor as promised.

good day, I received the below message closing my complaint.  However the complaint is not resolved. LL Flooring has NOT responded to me with the actions they promised.  This  is the same actions they have been doing for months. They claim they will do  something and then they do not follow through.

Can I file a law suit against them?

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint   For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Since ******* does not answer email or phone calls, we cannot get the inspector scheduled. I have been trying to contact ******* for a while now with no success. This case should remain open until the inspection is complete.  Additionally, I expect the inspector to leave me a written and signed report before they leave the premises.  The last inspector told me directly that there was a flaw with the wood and was NOT cause by the chairs. however, the local office told me their installers (said it was already repaired) that looked and took pictures said it was the chair was the issue.  The installers NEVER came to my house.]

      Good Evening,

The inspection company is a third party company, they have their own process on how the reports are done. Once the Inspector completes the inspection, they will go back and write the results of the report. We normally get the report within a few days of the inspection occurring. When we receive the report we will contact you and go over the results. Your representative can provide you with a copy once we receive.

      Thank You
