      Called at 1:30 pm 2/5 and set up appointment for facial for later that same day at 3:30 appointment time. Called back at 2:30 (one hour later) to reschedule to different day because babysitter cancelled. Was told I was going to be charged 1/2 of service amount due to not giving 24 hr notice of cancellation. Explained to receptionist that I just made the appointment 1 hour ago and I was never notified of cancellation policy when the appointment was made. ***** stated she would call the manager and call me back. She called back and stated she spoke to her manager and there was nothing I could do. I was still being charged the cancellation fee. I reinstated that I was never notified of the cancellation policy and I asked for the manager to contact me before charging me the fee. *****, the receptionist then called the manager and then called me back and stated that the manager would call me as soon as she could. I never received a call back and when I checked my bank statement later this evening, the charge was already processing for the cancellation fee. I am not a mind reader, how am I supposed to know of the cancellation policy If it was never explained to me when I booked the appointment over the telephone and spoke to somebody directly. They made the mistake by not informing me of the cancellation policy and then made me pay for their mistake.
