    Towed my friends car even tho they were in the visitor parking. We called them at least 15 times no answer. So we called the police to make a stolen vehicle report. The police call the towing company and of course they answered that phone call and said they had the car. We checked the towing report online and it hadnt been registered on there so ofc we thought it was stolen. Then they told us we had to pay cash only to get the car back. Give me my car back you weird scammers

    Fishers Towing operates in an unsafe and unbusinesslike manner. They towed my car from a lot next to a restaurant, and they told me that only a cash payment would be accepted in order to retrieve my car. This is unacceptable for anyone who needs to access their vehicle immediately; no other businesses require cash only transactions. I was given an address over the phone to a location where I could pick up my vehicle. However, when I arrived at the gps location for the address I had been given, there was no towing company there. I had to call back to Fishers Towing and the person on the phone had to give me verbal instructions because the address he gave me and I put in my gps was blocks away from lot in the back of a warehouse where I was directed verbally.When we arrived at the lot there was no signage identifying it as a lot for ****** Towing or any other business. The lot was very poorly lit. No one at the lot had any form of identification on (no ID badge, no uniform) identifying them as a representative of this business.Because I was required to pay cash, I only had $160 due to having to withdraw cash from an ATM. However, the individual at the location where my car had been towed did not have change. The Fishers contact person on the phone tried to convince me to stay longer to receive cash for my payment after a different customer paid their *********** a business requires customers to pay cash they should have change readily available and not ask a customer to wait for another customer to pay so they can have change to pay!A very unsafe situation which appears borderline fraudulent.This occurred Friday March 22, 2024.
