I dropped my Chrysler 200 off on Wednesday 7/12/2023 requesting that they replace the oil pressure sensor and the motor mount. These people kept my car for 2 entire days and did absolutely nothing to my car! They call me with the report saying I need 3 things done: oil pressure senor, motor mount, and a new transmission!! I told them I requested 2 out of 3 to be done! So I got my car that Thursday at 5:20pm after they put my car back together and my AC was not working!! I tried calling them but they would not answer! These mechanics do not know what they are doing. I will not take my car back there.

After speaking with the service advisor and service manager.  After spending 3 hours diagnosing her issues, we explained to Ms. ****** that her issue was due to the transmission and not the items (oil pressure sensor & motor mount) she wanted repaired, and we did not charge her anything for this, nor did we do anything to cause an issue with her A/C. If we fixed the oil pressure sensor and motor mount it still wouldn't have eliminated the need for a transmission.  In closing, I was informed that she called this morning (7/15/23) and spoke with our service advisor about her A/C and he asked her to bring the car in so we could check it. After reading this complaint we would rather her go so another repair shop being that we didn't charge her anything and told her what her issue was, and she said my guys didn't know what they were doing.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is my 2nd complaint about Gunter/Chrysler in Martinsville, VA. Yesterday 7/19/23 I went there to order 2 parts for my 2015 Chrysler 200 (oil pressure sensor and motor mount) because last week when I dropped off my car they failed to replace both parts and they had my car for 2 days. I reported them to the BBB and because of that, they literally refused me service and told me to leave! Instead of them apologizing for keeping my car for2 days, not working on my car, and when I got my car back the AC was not working; they refused to let me order the parts and told me to leave and never come back. I guess I'm banned from Gunter because I reported their negligence and unprofessionalism. Instead of them apologizing or giving me a free oil change for wasting my time and energy they refused me service? Isn't that illegal? Because now I am forced to cross state lines to next nearest Chrysler dealership just to order my parts. How can they be mad at me for reporting on how awful their service was toward me? Instead of fixing the 2 parts I requested they wanted me to get a new transmission!! $5300 is what the ticket had? Why would I pay for a new transmission when the one I got is still working? This is why they are mad and would not let me order my 2 parts so I could take the parts and have someone else install them. Once I reported them to the BBB I had already cut ties with them but they refused me service nonetheless. I have no problem not going there ever again because they are mean, rude, incompetent, and they love to overcharge the customers as well.
