    In September 2020, I met Luis Sanchez when he was referred to me by an employee of ******* who I had hired to mitigate damage caused by backed up sewer line. At that time, Mr. Sanchez installed a sump pump at a reasonable price and I was happy with the results. We talked about potential work in the future at my home, and Mr. Sanchez said his company could do those repairs.

    In November 2023, I signed a contract with him for repairs and upgrades to my sidewalks, patio, garage, attic gable and to rebuild a new cupola. I paid him $20,000 on November 20, 2023, and $10,000 on December 11, 2023, which was more than half down for the work. On January 8, 2024, I paid $17,900 for repairs to a breezeway. When Mr. Sanchez identified water damage, I paid an additional $4,650 on February 22, 2024, and asked him to include installing new French doors off my bedroom. On March 30, 2004, I paid Mr. Sanchez $6,650 after he discovered water damage to my bedroom floor and he was to install support columns and a water drain outside to mitigate water issues. On April 25, 2024, additional repairs were identified and I paid Mr. Sanchez $11,400 for those repairs. Finally, on June 13, 2024, I paid Mr. Sanchez $1,900 for changes to a cupola that he did not build as agreed, but ordered from a company.

    The original work was supposed to be completed by January 31, 2024. The completion dates were always continued throughout the year, and Mr. Sanchez always had excuses as to why. Finally, in September, I asked Mr. Sanchez for a final completion date and left it up to him. He settled on October 15, 2024. The date came and went without a word from him. Throughout the year, some work was completed but much of it was not. Many of the projects were subpar and I had to hire others to fix the work. I also learned that the quality of material he purchased was always the cheapest available, As a result, his carpenter quit and his stone mason quit. They can substantiate my claims.
