    Starting on 3/ 15/24 a deposit of $1000 was paid to Charles Hartman of C&L Remodeling for the remodel of a front deck. On 3/20/24 additional $1850 was paid for additional material. The project was completed and a balance of $7110 was paid in full 3/21/24. 6/24/24 a call to Mr. Hartman, that the steps were separating from the railing, Mr Hartman said "**** will be out to put in some screws sometimes this week." I have also spoken with Mr Hartman on 7/24, the last time being Oct 7. Each time I have spoken to Mr Hartman, there has been answers of, being in the hospital , having a knee replacement, and bad weather, also that "****" came out, and I wasn't at home. He could not give me specific date for this. The steps are a hazard coming up to my front door in that they could come apart. I would like the matter fixed as soon as possible.

    To ******* *******,I did talk to you and let you know that we would be to your residence to fix the issue, however my doctor had not fully released me medically from the knee replacement, as i could not drive. We do not employ a person by the name of "****". We have been to your residence, with one of our workers named *******, 2 times but you were not home. We do care about our customers, and we want to make them happy. We can take care of this issue as soon as possible. We need to have you there when we come. We can contact you  and set up a time that would be convenient.Again, we are truly sorry for not getting this done for you in a timely manner.Thank youCharlie HartmanPresident, C&L Remodeling

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
