  We contracted Duncan Design to build the backyard of our boys' dreams. There was a 2 structure tree house, a huge sandbox, and an in-ground trampoline. It was very custom, and we had a lot of unconventional requests, but the guys were so open to our ideas, and did everything they could to make our dreams a reality. They were very quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had, and were always willing to talk through the plans and make changes when necessary. They were very professional but also so friendly and kind with the boys, allowing them to be a part of the process, to the point where, now that the project is finished, they keep asking when the "worker friends" are coming back. They do quality work, each the of the projects were so well-made, and sturdy, and we look forward to enjoying the fruits of their labor for many years to come.

  We contracted the company 2 separate times for 2 separate jobs. First they trimmed trees and took down a dead tree. The tree was worst than it appeared and we had to get a lift in since it was no longer safe to be climbed. The company got the lift in the next day and since we got the lift we added some additional trees. They were wonderful to work with and were able to still get this done in excellent timing even with delays in getting a lift. A few weeks later we then hired them to complete a 12x 16 deck. They built the deck really fast and were always very professional and nice. The delivery driver didn’t back into our driveway with the wood far enough so when they dropped the wood out gates couldn’t close for our dogs. The team was nice enough where they blocked it off so our dogs couldn’t get out and could still go potty. If that isn’t kindness, I don’t know what is! It’s the little things that show true kindness. We’ve been enjoying our deck and it’s been wonderful, looks great, and super sturdy!

  Misrepresented ability to perform job after quoted and accepted deposit. Multiple delays/date changes. Owner, Andrew Duncan, wants additional money to perform job that he does not have experience in handling.   I’m very sorry that you have had a poor experience with us. In response to your comments, Andrew is very capable of the quoted job. The money you submitted up front was for costs to cover the large amount of rock needed for the job. The 100% refund check was written prior to your review and you should receive it asap. In landscaping, we are dependent on weather and that often pushes jobs scheduled further out which is beyond our control. There are often delays with jobs already scheduled. It was communicated to me that you had decided to start the work yourself and there was a difference of opinion in regards to how the project was to be done and Andrew felt his plan was the correct one given his experience and the way it had been started was not, which may result in more costs, more time, and decrease in longevity. He assured you that he would complete the job but it was pushed out some due to circumstances beyond our control. Our company has agreed to disagree as we can NOT back any work we feel is requested to be done incorrectly and have refunded the deposit 100%. Again I am very sorry that we were unable to meet the initial agreed expectation.
