      Company continues to bill after service was canceled, home was sold. They were given notice in writing, they had missed pickups and the house had been sold so I found zero need to continue. I paid through the month I canceled in. Since September of 2023 they have continued to bill me even though they have 4 emails, multiple messages (they never answer the phone) stating that I canceled the service and moved. I would like them to zero out the bill and stop trying to extort money from me for a service I do not receive

      We are being billed for services no longer rendered by Truman Refuse Co. We cancelled our services with them in a letter, saying we would not be needing the service any longer after December 31, 2022. We started refuse service with Henrico County Starting January, 1 2023. Truman is still billing ** for services Not rendered per our letter. No one from Truman has come to our house to take away refuse since late December, 2022. The billing has gone up to 240 dollars and they want payment immediately. We don't owe them any money. We have records of payments to Truman and subsequent payments for Henrico County's services. We had a long and very satisfactory relationship with Truman (we ignored delays and failure to pick up during the pandemic and paid them the billed amounts). We also added that we do not understand how this can happen. I called them on Friday May 5th, got a voicemail and reminded them that we'd sent them a letter. Today I wrote them a message stating exactly what is happening. We are very concerned that we are being harrassed. Please help us or refer us to some one who can. We are elderly and take the ongoing billing very seriously.*********,***** and ******************* PS: We have many more documents, if they are needed.

      ******************** i believe lives on homeview dr even though not mentioned in complaint.  double checked and it was an error on our part to continue billing them.  we corrected error today so they are no longer in system and have a zero balance at time of cancellation.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It seems Mr. Truman's company admitted to and corrected the error, including zeroing out the billing from the date we cancelled the pick **** They said they are dropping ** from their system...  will wait to be clear that the business does not follow up with any further billing errors. If we get no more bills from Truman, we will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: **********************************************.

      I have attempted to call and text this business several times over the past 6 months to end my service. No one ever answers the phones, no one ever returns the calls or texts. I have been trying to request to END my service and have them NOT pick up my trash anymore but they will not respond. I opted to end my service when they were unable to come on the correct days, gave us no notice for changing the day of pickup, and continued to refuse to return my calls. I have another company picking up my trash now, yet Truman is still sending me bills which I refuse to pay. Could someone please assist?
