    A&T Heating & Cooling installed a ductless split wall heater/air conditioner at the above address on or before 10/21/21 during a remodel of the home. Trane Model No: ***************. The unit did not function properly in early November, 2021. A&T was contacted via numerous phone calls and texts. They would not come to look at the unit. We called *** Heating & Cooling to look at the unit and paid them $100. We were informed that the compressor needed to be replaced. We called A&T and they said they would order a part. Months went by but the part was on back order. We asked A&T (Admen) to replace the whole unit since it was under warrantee. We have contacted A&T many times via phone calls and text messages. A&T would not call us back, nor answer texts. We then called ************ ******** ******* *** ******** and paid them $135. They told us that the incorrect gauge wire was used during initial installation causing the compressor to burn out. Since A&T would not attempt to resolve the problem, after 8 months we had no choice but to replace the unit. **** ***** installed the replacement unit and also confirmed that the incorrect gauge wire was used during installation, causing the compressor to burn out. We had to pay $5,800 for the replacement unit and installation. We are requesting compensation from A&T for this amount.
