1 starHad them transfer a used vehicle for us. They called and let us know it was there,We told them we would arrive at 10:30, we arrived at 10:23 and the paperwork had already been finished for another customer, Sold the car out from under us, and then tried to get us to buy a new vehicle at double the price.. They aren't as good as their word.. avoid them .. .

Hello Dale, I would like to apologize for the circumstance that you encountered at Nelson Toyota. We share our inventory across all of the dealerships within the Nelson organization. The particular vehicle that you had inquired about was brought to the Toyota location from our dealership in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Daniel, the sales person that you were working with, confirmed that the vehicle had arrived and was cleaned up and ready to show you. As it happens, a different salesperson had shown the vehicle to a customer who had walked onto the lot just before your arrival and they decided to make the purchase. This was very unfortunate, but it does happen. We do not take deposits to hold inventory. The salesperson who sold the vehicle was unaware of your appointment, and sold the vehicle to the customers who arrived before you got there. Our lack of communication created an issue. 1 starCalled them to test drive purchase a vehicle. offered money to old till i got there . had been on market 4 months. offered a reasonable price per online research and Kelly blue book, nada.
Daniel ****** said absolutely not. talked to me like I was dumb. we were just 2K difference and he told me. Find one somewhere else.
This isn't good business to me. i was willing to drive 3.5 hours to see a vehicle he had and offer cash. no hassle paid and done.
