I sought this business's services in the summer of 2023 when my basement bedroom ductwork began to sweat. They provided a $4,000+ solution to solve the "airflow" issue of the house. This included insulating the attic to stop warm air and insulating the basement ductwork so that warm air would not come in from a particular area in that specific room. As the heat started to pick up this summer, the insulation began to drip a significant amount of water. I had to pay a contractor to open up the drywall and ductwork again just to find that this business DID NOT do what I paid them for. The top of the ductwork is completely bare of any insulation and hot air has continued to flow in, resulting in further water damage. As the temperature increased, the ducts would get cold, contact with the warm air, and then condensate so that the top of the ducts pooled water and eventually made its way to the dryall, vents, and floor en masse. This company did not provide the desired services leading to further costly repairs. Due to the inadequate insulation job and the failure to solve the one issue I sought to solve, this will be the first step in seeking retribution. I am only seeking a partial refund to account for the disservice that I received for this specific "repair."

I am rejecting this response because:

After 2 visits the issue was left unresolved. I have already paid a different contractor out of pocket to solve the issue that shouldnt have existed in the first place. I paid $1,700 for the insulation to stop warm air coming in and because of the failure of this company to get all sides of the duct work, the warm air continued to pour in cause further damage.  I am not seeking a full refund but would respectfully request a partial refund to help pay for the extra expenses of correcting this issue.
