      We contracted Sunburst Construction to install a Trex deck wrapped with PVC at our home located at ******************************************. Contract Signed 07/05/2021 and is warrantied for 5 years.I contacted Sunburst Construction on or about July 17, 2024 to let them know the issues we are seeing.- Leaning stairs - Leaning handrails - Waiving floor decking - Lifting floor decking - Unlevel Joists Sunburst Construction came to the house on July 23rd, 2024 to add support under the deck as a step 1 prior to inspection by Trex. I received communication from **** on August 5th, 2024 to provide pictures of underneath and top of decking. Trex reviewed the pictures and provided a letter stating "The provided photo support indicated that they may be joists that are not level. The decking boards are mirroring the substructure, thus resulting in the uneven surfaces of your decks." Sunburst Construction refuses to fix problem starting this is wood warping. I had **** *******, Director of Production and Sales, from Sunburst Construction come to the house and showed him the waves on decking; the joists underneath decking (some higher and some lower); the stairs; and the wood raising. Sunburst refuses to fix. I have asked the owner to call me to discuss and have been waiting for a month and no call yet despite frequently reaching out to see if I can make contact and getting the response that he is too busy. This is a 3 year / 3 month old deck and we should not be experiencing these problems.
