    Two stars- because the engine works. For the rest of the story read on- but I would NOT recommend this place. I purchased a engine for a 2014 Porsche Cayenne Diesel on April 15, 2025 for *****. The engine took about a week to be pulled and about another week to arrive. The engine took longer to ship because the original engine I purchased was said, 'to have not met their presale inspection '. The one they did send, had less miles on it so I was ok with it. It arrived May 2, 2025 late in the afternoon on that Friday. The weekend automatically made install at least 2 days away. 8 days to go for install to qualify for the warranty. Around this time, Western Pennsylvania was hit with severe storms that knocked out power for about 300,000 people ranging from a few hours out to over 2 weeks. Pittsburgh was out for about a week in the East End where my mechanic was. So now, no power, parts are delayed (thermostat, rear main seal) and I had less than a week for install. I called Turbo Auto Parts and spoke to Joe again (who I placed the order with) who gave me Aaron in the warranty department. I called Aaron on May 6, 2025 who said he was out sourcing a motor and couldn't talk but would contact the insurance company to see if the could give me an extension due to the natural disasters in the area. AARON NEVER CALLED! I called numerous times and never heard back. I texted Iris who also works in the warranty department who stated she would pass the information on. No return call. I finally got a hold of Aaron on Tuesday, May 20,2025 to let him know that the engine was finally installed everything done. I tried emailing the documentation to their email address and received delivery errors. Aaron texted that it seemed to work for him although it didn't work. I asked if I could email the documentation to another account- no response. I called two days later- no response. I talked to Joe and requested a call back- no call. I asked for an extension of 8 days, no answer.

    Terrible auto parts advertise a 70000 mile. Engine and claimed they were an independent yard and not affiliated with the national chain... However the warranty they offered was from *****, a company i've had history with it.Never received a warranty rebate from a part that was sent broken. The engine I received had many more than 70000 miles on it. The inside of the valve covers were covered with brown vaporized oil from heat and an idler bearing on the front of the motor was completely wore out, showing extensively more miles than advertised. Whoever removed the engine, I just took a saws. Al and cut every line, and electrical connection. Rather than unhooking them. Buyer beware with these people

    Engine didnt arrive ontime and had to do several follow ups. Engine arrivef and didnt work. I was never able to resolve this issue with them. Ended buying another engine elsewhere. I DO NOT recommend them. Poor products and poor customer service. Also, it looks like they vette their reviews on webpage and do not post negative reviews. They seem to be scammers.
