    I writing this a year after my dad went home. We found Sheila's Place at the recommendation of caregiver. Pop went from an assisted living facility to Sheila in January 2021. We were welcomed from Day 1 as family. After 4 years, Pops finally felt at home and relaxed, he was treated with dignity, respect and love. Pops last 6 months on this earth were more than I could have hoped for. When your parents reach this stage in life and you have to make the difficult choices for them, there can be a lot of anxiety and fear. I WISH I had known about Sheila in June 2017.
    As Pops time drew closer, Sheila was with us the entire time. She ensured he was comfortable and did not struggle. Jasper, Tucker, Gracie, Lucky and Ginger (part of the 4 legged caregivers) were nestled around him as well. It was a huge blessing and comfort to our family to the pups and staff love Pops as we did. On June 14, 2021 Pops earned his wings, the way he wanted to. No machines, dignity and LOVE! Thank you Sheila and the entire team of caregivers at ******
    I continue to stay in touch with Sheila and her team, to this day. They are family!
