I recently took my car here for an air conditioning repair, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I was initially told that the repair could be completed the same day, but I didn't receive my vehicle back until four days later, on June 21st. During the inspection, additional problems were identified, and I was assured that the necessary parts would be ordered promptly. I was informed that one part would arrive the next day, but it did not, and I received no follow-up communication. I had to reach out multiple times for updates. To make matters worse, when it came time to address a crucial hose that needed replacement, I discovered that the same worn hose was reinstalled on my vehicle without proper replacement, and I was charged an additional $300 for this service. The initial repair estimate ranged from $1,650 to $1,900, yet my air conditioning system remains non-functional.When my husband contacted the establishment to seek a resolution, we were met with unprofessionalism, sarcasm and a lack of accountability. We were unable to obtain any contact information for corporate assistance, and the general manager was unable to offer any help. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone unless you want to waste your time.

I am posting this review express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Beach Auto Repair regarding my 2018 Land Rover Discovery, which has been in their possession since 12/23/24 brought in for a coolant leak and loss of power. We signed a service agreement to start the diagnostic of the vehicle's mechanical issues, which their team communicated estimate startof diagnosis. We accepted and agreed for the vehicle to remain at shop. Week of January 16, 2025, we received an update identifying the coolant repair (covered since it was repaired by your shop in June 2024) and an error code relating to the timing chain belt. This shop had been in touch with *** ****, who required a full assessment, including a parts list and total repair cost summary, to determine what repairs would be approved and disapproved. We signed another service agreement outlining the terms of the breakdown necessary to submit to *** **** and granted authorization. On February 6, 2025, *** **** was notified of the teardown by your shop. *** **** required a parts list and total cost summary. Weekly calls were made to your shop to confirm the status of submitting the parts list and cost summary, including calls to *** **** to confirm receipt. This shop informed us that delays were due to prior staff involved with the vehicle's teardown no longer being employed and new staff picking up the pieces. On March 14, 2025, a Google review was posted. A week later, we received a call from shop stating that they were putting the vehicle back together to return to us. I agreed, provided there was no coolant leak, which is covered under your warranty since repairs were completed in June 2024. Week of 4/4/25, shop returned a call with an update stating there is now a leak from the engine, which never existed before. Your shop identified the engine leak as originating from a gasket. To date this shop refuses to submit the parts list and cost summary to *** ****.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic, and I lived in multiple states. We took our vehicle to them to inspect the brakes and get an oil change. It took them multiple days to "fix" the problem and do the oil change. They charged us approximately $**** and told us it was ready to go. We were also told the "boss signed off on it being ready to go." I drove off in the vehicle with my children, and the brakes did not work well at all. As it was the end of a day on a weekend, we took it back first thing on Monday morning. They told us they would look at it and let us know. We had to call many times over several days to check in because no one ever followed up with us on their own. They kept saying they were "looking at it" and would let us know. It cost us hundreds of additional dollars in **** fees to get to and from work, as they still had our vehicle a week later telling us it was "not driveable" even though they gave it back to us in that condition and said it was done. After having it for 7 days, they could never identify the problem and took no responsibility for giving us back a faulty vehicle the first time. Finally, we picked it up and took it to another mechanic, who identified the problem and fixed it in less than 1 day. This business is not run professionally at all, and does not have competent mechanics working for it. Do not waste your time or money taking your vehicle to this place.
