******* ******* came to my house and bid on a deck job for my backyard. The job was agreed to take a week, it the whole summer. No sooner did he get his money in full, the deck started showing signs of wear and is sagging in various places. Boards are loose, and the deck is not level. I have reached out to him all summer, to no avail.

Let's get this straight from the word go here. Customer had us use his original frame work as much as possible. He was informed that it was wider than what was called for when it comes to composite. His review he left us on line said it all. He couldn't had been happier with how the deck came out. He has one place that a substructure board ( old works) has bowed a bit and separated one small section and cause one spongy deck composite board. Like I said old works he wanted to use to save cost. If your going to complain , look at what was done , we used old frame to save him money at his request. The deck look fantastic as his review right after the deck was finished and posted it online This is a massive deck. A well built deck that we went that extra mile to build. His complaint is one board at **** apart instead of ***** There again his old frame We have agreed to put in a few supports to stiffen it back up. But for him to say there was ***** in repairs to do is ludicrous . The deck is well built and a beautiful job. In the future for him as well as everyone else. If you want to save every little penny and use your old framing you are going to have a few issues. Usually not severe but little ones like this anyway. His review after the job was fantastic, we thanked him for this and he said we would be back to do more for him. These two very small issues are easily fixed and we intend to do so. But to say the work was subpar, that is just not true. When using old frame work to save money on your project, make sure you are aware that although the top may be new the bottom is still that stressed older wood and could fail from time to time. I have posted with this ********** review as well as the next review in a long line of reviews. His review says it all....

This man is lying. He subcontracted this job to people who never built decks before. He has cut corners throughout this whole project, which went from one week, to all of last summer. I have tried to get this man to make necessary safety repairs / modifications to this project since April. The deck has not been installed for 6 months at that point.

My request is for Matt to repair the deck, subject to an external company's inspection for safety purposes.

Alternatively, I request the revocation of ****'s business license and a refund in the amount of ********** so that I may move on with my life, safely. Attached is an estimate from an accredited Business to repair the shortcomings of this unsafe project

Attached is the estimate, the dialogue between **** and I this whole time, alternative reviews of his business, and pictures indicating the NEW portion of the deck is not properly built. There are almost no indications that the existing deck frame has any issue, as there was composite decking on it before this project.

Let's get one thing clear Johnathan. The men that put that deck up for you were seasoned professionals. They were not sub contractors. And it wasn't their first deck. They worked directly for me. You approved the deck and gave us a raving review once it was completed which you have now taken down. Doesn't matter we have a copy of it anyway. Your asking for ******** refund and a revocation of my business license. Why would you say the deck wasn't built right. You were there the whole time and saw all the extra support we put in it. Even around the hot tub. The pics say it all. It turned out beautiful. And there were no safety issues. If there is now it because you created them.

Mr Peelsih, I am not a deck builder, you are supposed to be the professional. The deck you built LOOKED great. Almost instantly, there were significant signs of wear on this massive deck. You admitted on this platform that you needed to come back and reinforce the deck. You finished the job October 21, and by April 22, I was contacting you to come out and get it looked at. 6 months of "I'll be by tomorrow, or next week". This is all documented on this platform as well. There is no way I came behind you and removed structure of the deck. We can all see on this platform that the deck is in need of structural support from a job that is NOT up to Code. I'm happy to call a county inspector out to list all of the infractions of this project, if you like.

We can certainly contact **** ******** ********* Fence **************** he can tell you that this was the biggest project he had overtaken at that time. He can also say that you all met at a Home ***** the week before. I believe you poached one of his employees after this project. He also will tell you that he recommended further structure support at the time of this build. I think the last thing he will say is that you attempted to complete this job as cheaply as possible.

Let's take a minute to talk about the hot tub. My hot tub cover does not properly open, as another oversight of you.

The more we pick at this, the worse this shows for you, sir.

Here is how we fix this.

Come out, and repair what you said you would repair, pending inspection of a third party contractor. This deck cost over ******* and should not be showing signs of wear within the first 6 months of use.

Alternatively, wash your hands of this, and provide me with the ability to have a professional fix your oversights. This request is for ****** with the provided documentation.

I have already given up on your "word" of providing documentation for my 2021 taxes, in which you stated that you would "donate" portions of my previous deck railings for a "tax voucher", and a "warranty" of this deck, that I believe you said you have an assurance through ********

I will leave you with the Yelp reviews of your company where YOU left the ONLY positive review...
