    On 11/16/2024 I paid ******* for a 6 month ad listing for my travel trailer on rvtrader.com. I chose to keep my phone number private. Within minutes of posting I was inundated with text messages to my cell phone number attempting to obtain personal information via vehicle report scams, and also being solicited by other trailer sales website. I contacted Trader Interactive that day via text, they replied today 11/18: “ Hello ******** ******, Thank you for reaching out to us about your phone number showing online. I do show you have spoken with a representative and your phone number is no longer showing on your post. I am sorry you had gotten so many scammers. We do offer a Security Center located at the bottom of the screen that offers tips on what to watch for when dealing with selling an item online. I have provided the link so that you can take get some helpful hints and tips of what to avoid. https://****************************************** I hope this helps and please let us know if we can further assist you. Thank you for contacting Trader Interactive.” Nobody ever reached out to me like they said, but apparently they removed my phone from the website (which shouldn’t have been there) even though I still got spam today. Due to them erroneously releasing my private information I requested a cancellation of my ad, which has yielded no non-spam inquiries. They have so far refused to do so.

    This customer spoke to one of our agents via text messaging on 11/18/24. Their ad was taken down took the a refund was processed. However, the customer had  already submitted a dispute with the bank, which prevented us from being able to send a refund. Our Private Party Customer Service Manager reached out to the customer on 1/31/25 to acknowledge we were unable to refund due to the dispute. The customer acknowledged that the bank had already refunded their money back.

    I did not see your email from 2/3/2025. Trader Interactive lied in their response, I had not initiated a credit card dispute on 11/18/24, and they did not initiate a refund, and never indicated they would. I have separately resolved it with the bank since Trader were non-responsive.
