    I engaged this person for work even though his quote was much higher than others since he was suppose to be able to handle the glass in a decorative window when rotted wood was removed. Unfortunately, it became apparent that he could not remove rotted wood and would only use fillers and caulking. I could push my finger through the filler into open space and rotted wood. I tried hard to discuss issues, but to no avail. I ended the job, and he then refused to refund any of my deposit although it was almost half the total quoted cost. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company for any work involving more than caulking and painting. This review would not have happened if ANY effort by this person had been made to remedy this situation.
    Big waste of my time and loss of money in deposit. WARNING: request a reference.

    Paid $**** for several windows to be replaced. Windows were installed without caulk on the outside, which caused leaks into the window frame causing rot and water stains on the interior paint. ***** did apply caulk on the interior side of the window, which caused the water to be trapped in the wooden frame. He also applied caulk to the cosmetic glass dividers that permanently bonded them to the window frame (they were supposed to be removable to make cleaning the glass easier). This is the second poor review that I have ever written. Maybe ***** was having a couple bad days, but I wouldn’t want to see anyone else deal with the mess that I am now dealing with.
