I told the technician and his apprentice what was wrong with my old Carrier heater. Even gave him the units' error code. 15 minutes later he came down and told me what I all ready knew and told told him the problem (bad heater induction motor). He collected his *** visit fee, and dropped a ********* repair estimate fee on me (the 41 cents was a very nice touch). The icing on the cake was his part arriving two and a half months later (they did call back later and say 2 weeks). I immediately went online and found an OEM replacement. I could have got it cheaper, but I just bought the whole motor/fan assembly. It arrived a few days later and took about 10 minutes to install myself and I saved myself ****** Seems a lot like price gouging to me.
I loved the level of professionalism these guys had when I had them replace my AC a few years back. I guess they are just looking for a payday this week. I might be older, doesn't mean I'll let you take Advantage of me.

We apologize that you were unhappy with our service. We do not buy parts off the internet. We rely on local OEM parts suppliers. This ensures the best warranties for our customers. For safety reasons, we do not recommend homeowners repair their own furnaces; however, if you are capable, you will always save money.Review fromKenneth W

Advantage Heating and Cooling has serviced our HVAC System for going on ten years. Thursday, January 18, we woke up to our heat pump not working. One day before we were to experience the coldest days of this winter going down to 19 degrees. Advantage had a tech come by and evaluate the heat pump. Our system was 22 years old and he let us know the motor was shot. We made the decision to purchase a completely new system. Today, January 24, Advantage installed our new system. Six days from our old system dying, we had a new heat pump and air handler. From our normal service tech, to the sales rep, to the install crew, Advantage has always been professional and diligent in taking care of our needs. We will let no other company take care of our home system and we recommend them to everyone.Advantage Heating and Cooling, Inc.
