    I purchased boots from this company and returned them within the allotted time. The return form gives "refund" as an option, however the company states they will only give me store credit, and says that wording on their website supersedes the form. I feel this was bait and switch.

    The customer failed to read our Terms & Conditions upon checkout when she placed the order.  Our Return & Exchange Policy is clear and can be found on our website at https://********************/returns.asp, which is the same URL that is referenced on the Return Merchandise Form that she used and included with her return, which states, 'If you are not completely satisfied with the merchandise that you purchased from ********************, you may return it to us within 60 days from the date of purchase for a refund or to exchange it for other items subject to the conditions on our Returns & Exchanges Policy (www.********************/returnexchanges.asp).'. 

    We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that may have caused her to believe that she could receive a refund for monies credited back to her original form of payment.  We have explained to her that the refund she received in the form of a Gift Certificate code, is transferable and never expires.  It may also be used to purchase another gift certificate for someone else, if she so chooses.
