      I have been a AAA Tidewater member for 29 years. I received a $*** invoice on April 12, 2024 for 2 services that I neither requested nor received. I immediately called the Virginia Beach Blvd. headquarters, but was unable to speak with anyone. I left a message and it was 2 days before I received a return call and that was after I went to the Norfolk location and spoke with an AAA employee who researched my account and revealed that there had been an additional 4 fraudulent services that had been charged to my account. After finally speaking with a member services representative in the Virginia Beach office, I was told that I would be contacted by the fraud department that is located in CA; that the fraudulent charges would be taken off my account; and that I would receive a new membership number and card. When I received a notice on April 29, 2024 that since I had not paid the fraudulent charges, my account had been canceled as of April 29, 2024. I again called the member service representative who told me the notice was computer generated and "not to worry" - that the charges had been taken care of and was told that my account had not been canceled and I would soon receive new card and number. I have not received a new number/card. Since that time, I have hand delivered a detailed letter to the Virginia Beach branch manager, have called her, the membership representative and the director in charge of membership services, but received no response from anyone! My account has apparently been canceled, because I am unable to access it online. I am very concerned about how my AAA membership number was fraudulently used, if it is still being used, do they have any other personal info and what would happen if I needed AAA services. Inexcusable that there is no response nor assistance for a fraudulent situation. Total lack of customer service.

      Tried to use AAA of tidewater to plan my trip to Australia. After little to no action from my assigned travel agent I contacted the CEO at AAA national Hq. I was assigned a customer service agent who told me to wait 7-10 days for contact. Over a month later I got a call. In the interim, the assigned agent tried to book me a flight costing more than advertised on the ***** site. Numerous misleading information so far in this process. I would not recommend AAA period. They are not time sensitive and do not care about the member, or travler.

      Worst Service!!! Would not recommend. I waited 4 hours for tow truck. Police threaten to tow my truck. Driver complaint about company pay isn’t what it should be that others have drop contract with them. I pay for this service and the company disappointed me. The sheriff department wants to have me towed. I have to call and let them know the driver is on his way.

      10/23/2023 Pulled up and sat in his truck for 30 minutes while I changed the tire. Never got out, never introduced himself, never made ANY effort to assist. Operator tried to tell me there was some confusion. No, we are in a tiny parking lot @ ******* ******* food mart, the only vehicles were my truck and and the red ****** that had 2 service calls reported that we were changing the tire on. He just didn’t give a ****. Save your $$$

      AAA Tidewater is a scam. In joined in June when they were having a special for 2 people. Now they are saying my membership was downgraded because I didn't pay the correct amount. They are the ones that quoted the price and charged the credit card. Then constantly saying I owe them more money. I canceled it and will wait for people in h@## to get ice water before I ever join that money trap again.

      Absolutely will not do business with AAA again. I have been a Member for 22 Years. My vehicle broke down in SC. I called the 1800 they transfer my call to SC no one answer the phone. I keep getting an automatics call saying my service is cancelled. SC had no truck service to help. I had to get Progressive Service to tow the car to an Auto Body Shop in SC. At this point My family and I were stranded in SC. I had to get someone in VA to drive to pick me and family up to bring us back to VA. Monday morning I call AAA trying to get some assistance and all I'm getting is a run around. They said they did not get my call, but the dispatch can ping my call from SC. This whole a ordeal is unsatisfactory I have been transfer from state to state with no resolution. My vehicle is still stuck in SC. I spoke with Judy a supervisor in VA she was very rude and then she transfer me over to NC to Katrina which is said I need to be with the car before I can get help. My vehicle broke down Sunday afternoon today is Wednesday this action is unsatisfactory so rules need to be looked at when you are out of town and stranded. I need my car towed so it can be fix. I need assistance as soon as possible. 22 years as a member and this how you treat a customer.

      Absolutely will not do business with them again!!! Vehicle broke down called AAA waited 3 hours with NO ETA on a driver the only one that came to my aid is my DIABETIC mother in law. Absolutely disgraceful you claim to care about your customers I paid a tow truck driver out of pocket to get my vehicle home
