The transaction was on September 27th, 2024 I paid $****** for two keys for my Volkswagon Jetta, my car was running well before they gave me new keys. After a month or so the first key he made stopped working and the car would not stay running. Thank goodness he made me two keys. So I called the tech and told him I used my other key. About two weeks ago now my key got stuck in the ignition and it would not turn the car off let alone get the key out of the ignition. So it took about that long for him to get out to me and finally, he came this past Friday, February,7th 2025 he came out and tempted to help me he did get the key out, but he also took the ignition part off where the key goes in and said and showed me how to use a screwdriver to start my car. It started once and now nothing. it won't start I lost days of work and I have to find rides to the market and bank and more. The technician left and when he left he left me with no running car and a larger issue that needed to be fixed on the car. can't turn the starter over can't put the car in gear and can't even bypass anything. I am looking for the ****** my car fixed and running like it was before the technician came out with new keys (2) properly programmed, and 500. for lost wages from work. I do not think this is too much to ask for their rudeness and negligence. The other reviews on Yelp have been awful. and the owner hung up on me today. and has very bad business sense. ***** ******

    Reference complaint # ********

    Good day,

Earlier today with ******* ***** in reference to this complaint and thought i  would follow up with an email.

***** ****** has been a client of ours. In September, on or about 9/27/24, one of my technicians responded to a service request on a ** Jetta. All keys were lost.

The technician assisted Mrs. ****** originate keys for her and completed the job for payment....2 working keys were  provided and she seemed satisfied. (we originated keys from the door lock --never touching the ignition).

*** At that time my tech warned her the ** ignition locks are prone to failure and that her ignition was  worn severely.

****He also warned the ** electronic key components which communicates between the key and car is not reliable and could fail. (This is a manufacturer  defect which ** has received complaints about.).

She did call about one fob failing to operate but did not show up to follow up to appointments at our shop to assist her with that issue. Since she missed those appointments I am unable to shed any light on why 1 fob stopped working. Please note: we did respond to her about this, but she failed to allow us to assist her.

    Forward to Febuary7, 2025 +/-

Mrs. ****** called on a Saturday evening late and Via text message was very aggressive and rude stating her key had gotten stuck in the ignition and wanted us to respond immediately.. I do not have any techs on duty 24/7 and i informed her as such.

Mrs. ****** proceeded to blame the key getting stuck on my company and again, aggressively said that it was our fault and that she expected us to fix it.

I texted her that the ignition likely was broken as my tech warned about and needed to be fixed with a new part by a mechanic...Not at my expense.

Being a person who is a responsible business owner, I sent my tech out at my expense to see if we could assist her. My tech was able to remove the key but reported back to me that the ignition had failed internally (not the key portion.. but the guts of the lock assembly itself .. parts.not touched or serviced  when making keys)  and  it was his understanding that she was not going to incur the expense of fixing it herself.

Mrs. ****** has called my shop being demanding and rude to my employees.I  never hung up on her..she is lying.. She has given my company bad reviews.

Mrs.****** has lost my good will and the opportunity to be our client or receive assistance in the future.

There will be no recompense as I* believe her claim to be a frivolous claim aimed at getting something fixed by someone other than herself.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

    Yours,

This lady is a grifter. She has done everything she can to fenagle anybody she can to get anything from anybody for free. She paid for services which were provided. We returned to her location and helped her a second time and a third time. Her complaint should be round-filed. She is grifting anybody she possibly can. We've done for her everything that she's asked for.
