      The response from the owner only served to justify his actions. It is ridiculous to say that since I "walked away" that in any manner changed what I said. I was unaware that I needed to stay and police your actions to be certain you did not return to work and cut more. I had to go from the front yard to the back yard and vice versa several time to try to get your workers to stop. I understand what was said about expecting the husband and wife to have agreed on the work but to continue after I instructed you to stop did not show your supposed dilemma. You took sides and for some reason favored the wife. Once you were instructed my myself the husband to quit you should have quit and cleaned up and not wait until my back was turned and start cutting again. As for the front tree it esthetically looks terrible. You cut one trunk off a multiple trunk River Birch and cut off and other limbs on the other trunks way up the tree. I now have to look at my yard and see the butchered trees. The look and view of my yard that I spent 31 years making is permanently very negatively changed.

      Again sir, I am sorry that you have had a negative experience, however I handled the situation the best way that I could determine. I could not leave the lead from the river birch the way that it was for safety reasons, as well as the way that it looked. I am sorry that you and your wife disagreed with the amount or type of work that you wanted done, however, I completed my contract that I had made in good faith with your wife. I did a good job of pruning the trees, I stand behind my work.
