    ***** ***** has ran off with my money and has not returned to cut down my tree. In October, ***** came by to do a diagnostic on my tree. He said it required a **** down-payment. I paid the **** and he was supposed to return in a week. The first few weeks, he kept postponing it saying that he had other jobs that were taking over. Now 3 months later, he is nowhere to be found and is not returning any phone calls. I am still without a tree cut and ***** has ran off with my ****. This is highly unacceptable. I will be seeking criminal charges against him as well.

    We order trees from this business. The owner came to our house, took the order and 50% of the final cost as a deposit ******** The trees were supposed to be deliver and planted a few weeks after. After many messages promising to deliver it, he stopped being responsive. After a long time, he said he would reimburse part of the deposit because according to him, we were cancelling when in reality he never deliver the product when he promised. Today, after more than 3 months, he sent **** which is half of the deposit saying that he will keep the other part because we cancelled the order and it was 25% of the total work that he will keep. We never cancelled the order but after he stopped being responsive, we just wanted our money back. If somebody broke the contract it was him by not following through with the job after giving several dates of completion. I cannot believe that this person is allowed to do business like this. We ordered at the same time that our neighbors and as far as I know he has not return their money either.

Mr hey man signed a contract which has a 25% cancellation fee on all work. We had multiple delays beyond our control which in our contract we are not liable for. Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2022/07/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) This is clearly a strategic business model. The owner took our money, never did the work or explained why he didn't show up with the trees. Then he became unresponsive for weeks at a time, waited until we realized he wasn't going to fulfill the contract and demanded our money back so he could accuse us of cancelling. Free money for not doing anything you promised. The *** does not have **** ******* as a registered business. They provided this company name for this complaint since the owners name is registered under Tidewater Tree Care and ***** **********
