    I was renting a storage unit from September of 2022-June 10th 2023. My first payment was $87.80 because, I started renting the storage unit in the middle of September. Every payment after has been $143. That price is including the $10 charge for the insurance protection (****) for the unit. They state that the insurance doesnt cover damage to our property so, Im unsure what why Im mandated to pay for it. I noticed the roof over my unit was leaking water into my unit when it was raining outside. My belongings were soaked, and covered in mold. I brought it up to the property manager. She said, she will be calling the solar panel company, and the maintenance man to look at the leak. The solar panels dont cover the parts of the roof that are leaking. The maintenance man (the property managers husband) put caulking around the leaks on the roof, then told me there wasnt any leaks. The property manager told me to move to another unit on site. When I had the opportunity to move, there was a lock on my unit. I called, she ignored my call/voicemail. I had a family member call, and she immediately returned their call. I finally moved my things, and while moving I noticed the mold had spread to a majority of my other belongings. I made more calls, she ignored them. I finally showed up in person, when it was about to rain outside. The maintenance man was in the office. I asked if he could unlock the old unit to look at the leaks, and water stains on the floor, he said, yes. The property manager, then whispered dont we have to wait for the solar company?. I then asked how long he would be on site, she didnt let him respond, and she said, for only 10 more minutes. She said, I then had an attitude because, I asked why the videos, and pictures werent enough proof. She acknowledged the leaking in the video a few weeks prior, when she had me fill out a complaint form. She told me, to wait in my car. She drove off with the maintenance man, 7 minutes later.     I paid my bill and they still have a lock on my storage unit the manager **** has continued to harrass ** and raise our payment monthly and no one elses gets raised we never had an issue I called about being a few days late and there was no problem no lock nothing I put a payment in 5 days ago and she has yet to remove the lock

    Per our contract we have up to 4 business days to unlock a unit once it is over locked due to non-payment of rent.
