      On ******* I signed a contract to have some woodchucks removed from my property. He set up traps and then we asked about bat removal. He said to do that he would need to close up a few areas on the house. On 8/2/2023. He asked for a check to cover the cost of materials. I wrote a check for $680 that he cashed the next day. Since then he has not responded to calls or text messages. I have not received the materials or my money back. I have asked for him to work directly with me or I would be getting the legal system involved and still not heard back

      I had a signed contract with ********************* from Tri-State Wildlife Exclusion in **********, ******* to remove bats from my property in accordance with ******* state laws. He came on May 15th, 2023 to do the inspection. He said he would arrive at 10:00a and didnt show up until 1:30p. Although he was late, we discussed the issues, we agreed on a price, and signed a contract for the removal. In person, we discussed him starting the work within a week of getting the inspection check. I mailed him a check for $233.00 on May 18th and hadnt heard from him since. I followed up in the beginning of June and again on June 20th, which he then told me he said he needed half of the fee for the work to start the job. On June 29th, I mailed him a check for half of the agreed upon fee ($513.22) for the materials and labor. Again, hadnt heard from him. Since that date, I reached out to him on multiple occasions to see when he was starting the work on the house. I wouldnt hear from him for weeks, despite multiple phone calls and texts. When he finally did respond, it was always excuse after excuse. Ill be there on Monday. Ill be there by the 10th. Im in *******, Ill be there on the 17th. This went on for weeks. Fast forward to October, he still has not showed up. Keep in mind, this work has a time table and needs to be done before temperatures drop to a certain level in the fall/winter. After doing more research, there was a compliant on Better Business Bureau as well as on his ***************** page of multiple reviews and scenarios that mirror mine. I have reached out to him now again, told him I was calling the police, and yet still no response, and no work has been done.
