    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. After not hearing from the business I also filed with the *********************************************  Through this office I have heard back, but this matter is not yet resolved.  I am hopeful to have this worked out via the ************************ within the next two weeks.

    Please note that your email dated 3/3/2025 is the first notice I received regarding this matter as filed with the BBB. Also, that we have been engaged in a resolution with Ms. ******* for some time which has resulted in an agreement to settle her concerns. I expect to finalize the settlement today. 
    I would like to point out that in forty years of doing business as a jeweler, this is the first complaint of this nature. While the allegations are not supported by the facts, and we have tried many times to satisfy Ms. ******** demands, none-the-less, I am glad to resolve the matter in a manner that Ms. ******* finds acceptable.

    Better Business Bureau:

    The complaint #******** was resolved on March 5, 2025. This complaint was addressed by the ******************************** following the absence of a response from the Better Business Bureau. I would also like to point out that although ******* ***********, owner of Karlise Fine Jewelers, states he has been in business over 40 years, Karlise Fine Jewelers began operations in 2017. This is the business which the complaint is against and not the prior business ******* *********** worked for. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of assuming that the quality of work and relationship would carry over from the prior business to the new business operated by ******* ***********, but that was not the case. While Mr. *********** does not believe the facts are supported, the various second opinions I obtained from reputable jewelers reflected consistent conclusions.
