This is the last email I sent to their CEO without a response. Beware, they take your money and are incompetent. We have been in contact with 8 people from Reconciled (***********************, ***************************, ***************************, *************************, *********************, *****************************, *******************, ***********************) in a 12 month period as you can imagine that got very confusing to us. We went through 5 Bookkeepers in a 12 month period. I am hoping that is not normal business practice to your clients. The onboarding experience and having a P&L on a Cash basis from 2021 was usable to file our taxes in 2021 and was acceptable. I still had to perform 10 hours of manual spreadsheet work to prepare the data for taxes. From January 2022 through all of 2022 is where it went downhill from there. That is when we went through 5 bookkeepers with conflicting advice and different methodologies to how our books should be done.We never had an accurate Cash or Accrual set of books in 2022. Nothing ever tied out to our bank statements in all of 2022.We spoke with a bookkeeping professional here locally and in her professional opinion we should do our books in QuickBooks on a Cash basis. She said she could perform these services for us for $300 per month. She has a public accounting background with ************* and is extremely knowledgeable on how we should structure our business, file our taxes and perform bookkeeping services. We have been paying you $600 per month and have no usable financial reports and now have to do all of this work manually to file our taxes. As you can see from the points above we feel that it is reasonable to ask for a refund. We are not unreasonable people and tried to stick with you throughout all of your changes and frankly incompetent bookkeepers that could never get us

I was cold-contacted by Reconciled via email, offering bookkeeping services, etc. I met with their salesperson twice. He was great, not pushy, and seemed to truly want to accommodate my small business with a reduction in services for a reduced rate. He provided me with a quote and set up a meeting with their bookkeepers. When I met with them, both were also nice. I told them about my business and my needs and they said they would get back to me with a clear idea once I gave them access to my Quickbooks account. I gave both people access to my **, something I had done for my previous accountant with no problem, but they seemed to have trouble accepting the ** invitation. I rescinded and resent several times, but then they stopped contacting me. When I reached out via email asking about the access issues they stopped responding completely. All three (salesperson, and both bookkeepers) just stopped responding at all.I don't understand what happened. We had great rapport, and I was willing to hand over the accounting details of my small business and pay for their services, then...nothing. It was bewildering and thoroughly unprofessional. It made me paranoid that they HAD been able to access my account and mess around, but a phone call to ** assured me that they had not.I was excited to work with Reconciled. They started off strong, but then disappeared. I got ghosted by an accounting firm! If the situation hadn't potentially threatened my livelihood, I would think it was funny.
